Face Painting at National Night Out
Face painting will be available during National Night Out at Emerson Park, hosted by the local police department. Attendees can pick from colorful, kid friendly designs that add extra fun to the celebration. Expect a welcoming atmosphere focused on community spirit and plenty of smiles. Chicken Liver Night features the same banquet-style chicken livers served at banquets, set aside for a dedicated evening. Guests can dine in at the Lorelei Lounge or order takeout to enjoy at home by calling 989-652-6627. Please call ahead for both dine in and takeout. This offering takes place on the first Tuesday of every month.
Bavarian Inn LodgePaint your own planter craft night 🪴
Enjoy a relaxed craft night focused on painting a terracotta planter to take home. Registration includes the planter and all necessary supplies, such as paints, brushes, paint trays, water cups, and a protective sealant for your finished piece. Pricing is $35 for adults, $25 for kids 12 and under, and $25 for each additional participant in the same group, with groups capped at four people. Fees also help cover the host’s time in providing materials, setting up, and guiding the workshop. To reserve a seat, send digital payment before completing the Google Form. Space is limited, and registrations are confirmed once payment is received. Support for this event helps bring creative activities to the community.
Yoga in the Gardens
Experience an outdoor yoga class at Dow Gardens designed for those with a moderate fitness level. Participants should feel comfortable getting down to and up from the ground, balancing on one leg, and doing squats. Attendance requires an active Dow Gardens annual admission pass; passes cost $30 and can be purchased by calling 989.631.2677. This program is part of Session 3 and the fee is $50.
