The Thomas Township Library2nd Annual Inclusive Talent Show
The 2nd Annual Inclusive Talent Show brings a community-focused showcase to the State Theatre as a fundraising event presented by New Dimensions. Performers from around the area take the stage, with raffle prizes, a 50/50 drawing, and a closing awards segment honoring the top five acts. The People’s Choice Award will be decided by audience votes. Concessions at the State Theatre will offer popcorn, candy, and refreshments for purchase, provided by St. Laurents Brothers. Proceeds from ticket sales support New Dimensions, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) vocational rehabilitation organization that has served Bay and Arenac Counties since 1974 by helping people secure employment and earn fair, competitive wages. Funds help enhance programs that assist disabled, intellectually disabled, and mentally disabled persons in accessing community events and activities and participating in their favorite outings, with the goal of fostering a more inclusive community while celebrating local talent.
