National Night Out 2026
National Night Out brings the community together at the Boys & Girls Club Bemidji Clubhouse for a free, family friendly evening. Enjoy a complimentary meal, bounce houses, a dunk tank, and chances to check out first responder vehicles with live demonstrations. A community resource fair will be available, with more activities to explore. Parking is available in the Boys & Girls Club lot or on the street.

At Wildflower Cottage Shop and Studio, this hands-on workshop focuses on crafting a Celtic knot basket that blends heritage techniques with everyday usefulness. Participants will learn the full weaving process from start to finish, with color options that may vary. All tools and materials are supplied, making it a welcoming experience for newcomers and a satisfying project for experienced weavers. A sample basket measuring approximately 12 inches across and 8 inches deep and high serves as the model. Adequate hand dexterity is important, and the class is open to ages 14 and up. Enrollment is limited to seven people to allow for attentive instruction. A lunch break is included, and participants may bring their own meal while snacks are provided. Please note that the session may be canceled if minimum enrollment is not met. Early registration helps secure a spot and supports advance preparation.

Complete the look with colorful fire glass or smooth polished stones for a natural finish, and optionally add citronella or essential oils to help keep bugs at bay, turning your piece into a cozy patio centerpiece for evening relaxation. The cost is $42. All ticket sales are final, and while refunds are not available, tickets may be transferred.
