Free Fallin
Grooves and Foods returns for its fourth season at Maple Grove’s Town Green, produced by Mick Sterling Presents. This festival welcomes all ages and is open to the public, and this installment spotlights Free Fallin, The Tom Petty Concert Experience. Food trucks and a beverage bar open the festivities, followed by the Mick Sterling Live Radio Hour featuring interviews and entertainment. A sponsors program leads into the national anthem performed by Cate Fierro, after which Free Fallin delivers its tribute set. A brief intermission breaks the show before the performance wraps up. Originating from Minneapolis, Free Fallin has brought Tom Petty’s music to audiences around the world for nearly two decades, building a full production concert experience. The show highlights the hits and incorporates instruments and wardrobe choices that echo the look and sound of a Tom Petty concert. The band has appeared at major venues and events across the country and is recognized for a polished touring presentation that resonates with fans of Petty’s songwriting. Support for this event comes from Rotary Club of Maple Grove as Title Presenting Sponsor, McNellis & Asato, Ltd. as Twin Cities Festival Sponsor, Maple Grove Parks and Rec as Venue Sponsor, and Experience Maple Grove as Development Sponsor.
