Chanhassen Dinner Theatres presents the musical comedy Guys and Dolls. Set in Damon Runyon’s mythical New York City, the story follows gambler Nathan Detroit as he faces pressure over the biggest craps game in town, while his longtime girlfriend Miss Adelaide waits for their wedding. Nathan teams up with Sky Masterson, who tries to whisk Sarah Brown to Havana, setting off a chain of events where romance and redemption collide. Expect a lively mix of story, dance, and music, featuring Frank Loesser classics like “Luck Be a Lady,” “A Bushel and a Peck,” and “Sit Down You’re Rockin’ the Boat.”

Campers can spend the week diving into cooking with a specialized day camp focused on kitchen skills and food safety. There’s time each day to learn and practice new cooking techniques, plus activities like working in the camp garden and making delicious food. Check-in runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 9:00 AM, with the camp day ending at 4:00 PM and dismissal between 4:00 and 4:30 PM. A closing ceremony is held Friday at 4:00 PM, and before- and after-care are available with registration required. A White Camp Fire t-shirt for tie-dye is included.
