Zeitgeist Minnesota Film Festival - Ni-Naadamaadiz: Red Power Rising
As part of the Zeitgeist Minnesota Film Festival, Ni-Naadamaadiz: Red Power Rising screens at The Depot Theater at the St. Louis County Depot. This 90-minute documentary revisits the lesser known 1974 occupation of a Kenora, Canada park led by Anishinaabe youth alongside members of the American Indian Movement. Through rare archival footage, firsthand interviews, and the newly discovered manuscript of leader Louis Cameron, the film underscores Indigenous strength and resilience. Producer and co-writer Tanya Talaga will be in attendance. Presented with support from AICHO, The Depot, and the Depot Foundation.
