Loops & Lavender
A relaxed evening at the farm brings together yarn, lavender, and friendly company. Knitters, crocheters, and anyone who enjoys a creative night are welcome. Guests are encouraged to bring a work-in-progress, a lawn chair, and a personal snack. Non-alcoholic drinks will be available to share while everyone stitches amid the lavender. Admission is $5 per person, with tickets available exclusively through the organizer’s website. It offers an easygoing chance to unwind, create, and savor a slow summer evening on the farm.
The Lavender BarnyardWEE Farm Garden Club
The WEE Farm Garden Club unfolds across the summer, giving participants a chance to grow their own food while exploring plant and soil science. Through hands-on gardening and experiential learning, it fosters environmental stewardship, sparks curiosity, and builds a calm sense of belonging through connection with the land and with one another. Participants also take home the produce they cultivate.
WEE FarmWEEKLY WHEELS CAR + BIKE MEETS at BUCK HILL
Weekly Wheels Car + Bike Meets at Buck Hill brings enthusiasts and casual visitors together in the Buck Hill parking lot for a relaxed showcase of hundreds of cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Explore classic muscle, imports, lifted trucks, custom bikes, and other distinctive builds, with no need to know specs to have a good time. Live music provides the soundtrack while Buck '54 Bar & Grill serves BBQ, burgers, cold beer, and more. The display is selected to keep quality high, so anyone wishing to show a vehicle must pre-register and receive approval. Families, friend groups, and solo attendees are all welcome, and event partners include Blackfire Creative, Jeff Belzer's, Scoop Concessions, and QA1.
Car Show and Carnival
Apple Valley Village presents its annual car show and carnival fundraiser, bringing together live music, food, a farmers market, games, a petting zoo, and a car show. A raffle is held before the festivities wrap up. This community-wide gathering raises funds that enrich the lives of the aging adults served by Apple Valley Village. What began as a small resident activity has grown into an event that helps sustain essential care. Proceeds benefit the Bridge Program, activity programming, new equipment, and other vital services that support well-being and connection. Apple Valley Village is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) that cares for nearly 400 residents and employs more than 300 staff.
