    Clash at the Capital 2026

Mississippi Trade Mart, 365 Greymont Ave, Jackson · verified Aug 9
    See details

A two day Mississippi Card Show fills the Mississippi Trade Mart with sports, pop culture, and gaming, highlighted by what is promoted as Mississippi’s first IFPA certified pinball tournament. Southern Tilt Pinball presents the second annual Clash at the Capital Open, a free competition with only a $1 IFPA fee per player, and machines set to free play. Qualifying uses group matchplay across ten rounds with two games per round, spread over both days, for a total of twenty qualifying games. Finals begin right after qualifying concludes and follow a group matchplay format with three games per round. The top 24 move on to finals, and the top 8 receive a first round bye. Prizes for the top 4 include cash provided by sponsors as well as trophies, and the tournament may continue to completion even if the show closes for the day. On the show floor, celebrity guests from the worlds of athletics, pro wrestling, and voice acting appear throughout the weekend, with opportunities for autographs and photos available for purchase separately. Vendors and artists from around the country offer apparel, sports cards, tabletop gaming cards and accessories, artwork, and more, alongside additional attractions such as pinball and tabletop gaming. Participation in the tournament requires a show ticket. Advance purchase discounts are available online, with both weekend and single day options. Children 10 and under are admitted free with a paid adult ticket, limited to two children per adult. Discounts are offered to veterans and active duty military with a valid military ID, and prices increase at the door. No refunds are issued unless the event is canceled. Player registration is available ahead of time to secure a spot, the field is capped at 64 competitors with a waitlist after capacity is reached, and day of signups may be accepted if space remains.
