Myron Hyman Live at Music in the Airport
Travelers can catch a live performance by Myron Hyman inside Asheville Regional Airport. The show takes place post security in front of Aletitude by the grand piano, between Gates 10 and 11. An airline ticket is required to access the area through security.

At In His Steps Dance, advanced beginners can continue their journey in clogging and flatfoot through a focused six-week series. The sessions revisit essential foundations while introducing a wider range of steps. Participants work on creating fuller sounds in the walking step, practice smoother step transitions, and gain confidence with improvisation. Tuition is $100 for the full series or $20 per class.
In His Steps Dance MinistryMagic: The Gathering at Well Played
Well Played hosts a weekly Magic: The Gathering meetup that welcomes both longtime players and those new to the game. Casual Standard format play is available, and multiple decks are on hand for anyone without their own. Newcomers can learn the basics with help from Game Masters. Players may bring their own decks to face off against others. This is a free, casual gathering with a relaxed atmosphere and drinks available. Cards, accessories, and booster packs can be found at the local shop Gamer’s Haunt.
Beat Church
An immersive night of freeform dance, movement and connection unfolds in the Social Hall at the JCC, with tea provided as part of admission. The program features a movement lab with time to warm up and stretch, an opening circle, a bass-forward ecstatic dance set from DJ Purrriestess, and a brief closing sound bath. Details for the movement lab and the sound bath are to be announced. Massage therapy is available at $2 per minute. The dance floor is kept quiet so participants can treat movement as meditation, while soft conversation is welcome in a separate tea lounge. Please go shoeless in the space unless you need indoor-only footwear for physical reasons. Care for yourself, others and the venue, and keep phones tucked away on the dance floor and in chill areas. Originating in San Francisco in the early 2000s through DJ Neptune, Beat Church continues a legacy of cutting edge underground dance within Asheville’s community.
