Susana Miller Returns to Asheville

Susana Miller, a leading authority on milonguero style social tango, returns to Asheville for an immersive learning opportunity. She introduced the term milonguero after observing social dancers in Buenos Aires during the tango revival of the 1980s, and she studied the movement of elder, intuitive dancers so she could preserve and share it with newer generations. Her approach has helped shape social tango in Buenos Aires and around the world. She will lead two small-group workshops at In His Steps Dance Ministry, with each session limited to four couples to allow for individualized guidance and detailed corrections. The cost is $100 per couple for a single workshop or $180 for both. Private lessons are also available. To register for the workshops or schedule a private, contact Barbara Durr at 202-617-5799 or barbdurr422@gmail.com.
