Peel Gallery + Photo LabIndigenous Wire Wrapping Jewelry Class
Honor Mother’s Day with a small, beginner-friendly wire wrapping workshop led by Indigenous Memories. Learn foundational wire shaping while crafting a Ponytail Palm pendant with black obsidian and copper. A short segment on local Indigenous history provides cultural context for the materials and techniques. The pendant draws inspiration from the hardy Ponytail Palm, a plant that stores water in its trunk, encouraging self care and foresight. All supplies are included. Attendees may bring eye protection, hand moisturizer, and an optional headlamp for extra light. This adults-only session is capped at five participants to keep things calm and personalized.
