    Band of Oz, regarded as one of the Southeast’s most successful groups and regularly praised by leaders in the entertainment industry, takes the stage on Raiford Street in Downtown Selma as part of the Rockin’ On Raiford Concert Series. Bring a chair for seating, and note that coolers are not permitted. Downtown Selma is a social district, so attendees can grab a cup from The Alley, Quantum Toad, or The Vault, fill it with a preferred adult beverage, and enjoy the music. Food will be available from a food truck, and Hahvad Yahd Cafe inside the Southern Bostonian will also be open. The concert series is supported by a grant from the Johnston County Visitors Bureau.     2026 Gig in the Park - Caroline Keller Band

    The final rescheduled concert in this free community series features the Caroline Keller Band at Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park. Hosted by Wilson Downtown Development and the Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park, the event is free to attend and also serves as a fundraiser that helps both nonprofits offer more programs throughout the year. Support comes from Presenting Sponsor Wilson County Tourism Development Authority, Series Experience Sponsor Wilson Energy, and additional Concert, Community, and Friend of Downtown sponsors. ASL interpreters will be available. Refreshments include ice cold beverages for adults served by Parkside Pour Sponsors Ruckus & Redemption and The Neighbor's, and kids can explore activities provided by the Imagination Station Science Museum. Bring a chair or a blanket for seating. A valid ID is required to buy beer or wine. Food options include Everette's Concessions, Jett's Curbside Cravings, The Rock Food Truck, Z Halal Grill, Taste of Texas, SaYum Jamaican Food Truck, The Scoop Truck, and Whirligig Popcorn Shoppe. Caroline Keller leads a band grounded in storytelling, classic country influences, and an Americana touch, with fellow songwriters and touring musicians John Christenbury and Clint Presley. Keller began performing country gospel as a teenager, recorded three albums, and achieved multiple Top 10 songs on the country gospel charts. The group brings strong songwriting and musicianship to stages of all sizes. Since the summer of 2016 they have been invited to the Sunday night writers nights at the Bluebird Cafe and continue to appear quarterly. Notable accolades include the 2017 Don Gibson Singer Songwriter Symposium award for "The Way It Goes," the 2019 Queen City Country Female Artist of the Year, and the 2018 Carolina Music Award Best Americana Band. Band sponsorship for this concert is provided by Casita Brewing Co. and Aqwa.
