Capitals Cup 2026!
Capitals Cup 2026 brings teams together for a soccer tournament at Cottonwood Soccer Complex, presented with support from Altair Corporation. Registration is open to all teams, and no player cards are required. Every participant in U8, U9, and U10 receives a medal, while upper divisions recognize the top two finishers with awards. A registration deadline and a separate roster submission deadline apply. Team entry fees are 250 dollars for U8, 450 dollars for U9 and U10, 500 dollars for U11 and U12, and 575 dollars for U13 through U19.
Cottonwood Soccer ComplexRutherford Family Benefit
Created to support Josephine’s medical journey, this benefit shares her story and raises vital funds for care. Severe abdominal pain in 2022 led to the discovery of multiple precancerous lesions and a major surgery that August to remove the lesions and affected organs. Since then she has dealt with ongoing infections and extensive testing. In March 2025 she was referred to Mayo Clinic, where evaluation and treatment continue, and further surgeries are scheduled to address complications from prior procedures. The day features a free will donation meal along with silent and live auctions, a Chinese auction, a 50/50 raffle, and a bake sale. Proceeds help ease the financial strain of appointments, testing, treatments, travel to Rochester, Minnesota, and upcoming surgeries.
Mandan Moose Lodge #425Family Zoo Snooze
Hosted each summer, this overnight camping adventure is designed for the whole family and features a range of activities that appeal to animal lovers. Bring your own tent, or, if you do not have one, tents are available to reserve. The experience concludes in the morning with breakfast provided. Expect to wake to the calls of peacocks or the rumble of mountain lions greeting the new day.
Dakota ZooDIY Cornhole Workshop
Build a custom cornhole set at this hands-on workshop. All materials are provided and instructors guide participants step by step through the entire project. Choose from a selection of cornhole designs and personalize your boards with a range of paint and wood stain colors, whether making a set for your own yard or as a gift. Pre-registration is required. The workshop takes place at Board & Brush Bismarck, a BYOB establishment.
