Create a Wooden Flower Press
Tap into floral creativity in a hands-on class led by Holly Lukasiewicz with District 2 Floral Studio. Assemble your own flower press, then make it your own by adding a decoupaged design made from pressed flowers. All supplies are included, and participants leave with a finished press and a floral creation they crafted. The cost is $75, and Garden members receive 20 percent off.

Led by Sifu Starr, who brings decades of experience in traditional Chinese martial arts, this 1.5 hour class strengthens mind, body, and spirit through authentic Yiliquan Kung Fu and Tai Chi training. Participants work on forms and techniques, Tai Chi sequences that support health and wellness, practical self defense, Chi Gung for internal energy, and focused practice to improve balance, flexibility, and coordination. Meditation and mindfulness are included. All skill levels are welcome, from beginners to advanced practitioners. Bring a water bottle and wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing. The session takes place at Steiner Academy of Martial Arts. Free for members. Drop ins are welcome, contact the studio for pricing.

The market operates rain or shine with both indoor and outdoor setups, and it offers a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere that champions small local businesses. Conveniently located where North Omaha, Midtown, and Downtown meet, it is easy to access from across the city. Vendor opportunities are available.
St. Matthew Missionary Baptist ChurchExploring Energy Healing Class with Joy
Joy leads an introduction to energy healing that focuses on tuning into the body’s innate intelligence and the broader awareness of your infinite being. The class covers the basics of muscle testing and offers guided practice to notice and interpret subtle energetic sensations within the body. Participants are encouraged to bring plenty of water to support energy movement, along with paper and a pen for note taking. The class fee is $30 and it is being presented for the first time at Next Millennium.
