Friendly Friends
A monthly community gathering on the first Tuesday of each month at Kros Strain Draft Works. It began after the loss of a friend, and after more losses it continues with a simple purpose... to build connection before tragedy. Reconnect with familiar faces and meet new ones. Dolomiti | Pizzeria & Enoteca will provide pizzas, and Kros Strain will donate 1 dollar from every drink to a non-profit. Everyone is welcome.

The Nebraska Humane Society offers drop-in dog training classes designed for busy pet owners who want guidance without committing to a long series. Trainers focus on setting participants up for success and welcome questions throughout the session. Common topics include name recognition and recall, basic cues such as sit, down, and stay, house training, living with kids or other pets, polite guest greetings, not jumping, crate training, and walking nicely on leash. Attendees can register ahead of time or pay when they arrive.
Nebraska Humane Society - Center for Humane EducationLRLS: Session 2, week 3
Session 2, week 3 of this competitive, PDGA-sanctioned disc golf league for women brings the traveling series to Seymour Smith Disc Golf Course. The league spans nine weeks with events rotating among courses within roughly 25 miles of the Omaha area. League nights are typically on Tuesdays during the season, and start times may vary, so participants should check UDisc for the latest schedule details. Series payouts are based on the average of each player’s top three scores, with the top two finishers in each division paid at the end of the series. Participants who play week to week only do not qualify for series payouts. Payouts are sent electronically, and players will be asked to share where to send theirs at the end of the session. A free UDisc account is required for league and live scoring. Costs are $30 for the full nine-week session or $5 per week.
