Celebrate National Grandparents Day at Lentini Farms with a special appearance by Kelce the Highland Cow, hosted by Fluffy En Route. Grandparents receive free admission when visiting with their grandchild or grandchildren. General admission is $10 for adults, $8 for children 13 and under, and free for children 3 and under. A Highland Cow photo experience is available for $10 per group, providing an up-close meet and greet and a photo opportunity with Kelce for up to five people plus two grandparents. Tickets for the photo experience are sold separately and do not include farm admission. Enjoy a beer tent with Invertase Brewery, A Taco Affair food truck, live music from David Gardener, scenic hayrides, a corn maze, a u-pick flower field, kids activities, vendors, and sweet treats.

Meet adoptable dogs and cats from Eleventh Hour Rescue during a special mall adoption event at Rockaway Townsquare Mall. A limited selection of the rescue’s pets will be on site, and the lineup can change. Applicants who already have approval may be able to finalize an adoption the same day. If a particular pet is not in attendance, there are many others in the rescue’s care awaiting homes. Eleventh Hour Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that saves dogs and cats from high-risk situations and gives them a second chance, and each adoption, donation, and share helps further that mission.

Roxbury Library offers free ESL conversation sessions for adults who want to become more confident speaking English. The app accepts orders only during operating hours, and during busy periods ordering may be briefly paused to handle high demand and preserve quality.

A free 14-day martial arts trial is available for children ages 4 and up in Lodi and surrounding areas. The trial offers access to multiple weekly classes that fit busy family schedules, with instruction focused on discipline, self defence, and proper technique. Participants train in a fun, structured setting that supports confidence, focus, and fitness, all within a welcoming community. All experience levels are welcome, and everything needed for the trial is provided. Space is limited to 12 children, and siblings are encouraged.
