Pizzava hosts a new trivia game in Sparks with DJ Trivia. Participants can expect an upbeat atmosphere, entertaining questions, and food and drinks.

This baseball session is designed for ages 7 to 11 and centers on fundamental skills and game basics. Instruction is led by expert coaches, with a focus on helping young players build a strong foundation and develop good habits.

Presented by the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra in partnership with the City of Reno, this installment of Harmony on the River is a free, all-ages community concert at West Street Plaza in downtown Reno. Enjoy live music from smaller groups of Reno Phil musicians in a setting that celebrates community spirit, local culture, and the Truckee River. Food trucks will be on site to complete the experience.

The Village Summer Concert Series returns to The Village at Rancharrah, presented by Dolan Auto Group, offering a fourth season of free weekly outdoor music that brings the community together. In the Village courtyard, friends, families, and visitors can unwind with live performances in a welcoming setting that celebrates local culture. Attendees are welcome to bring low-back lawn chairs or a picnic blanket and enjoy a mix of local and regional acts spanning a variety of styles. This season’s lineup includes Kyle Rea, The Jim Doyle Band featuring John Ramey, Beatles Flashback, Jonny Rolling and the Punches, EHA, Mighty Mike Schermer, Tim Snider, Rhythmia, Full Blast, Andersen Ackerman Band, The Copper Children, and Jelly Bread. House music returns to West Street Plaza as BLT partners with the City of Reno to bring outdoor beats and a welcoming atmosphere to downtown along the Truckee River. The Up Till Dawn lineup features DJs Vic Cruilic, Leta Trise, and Shane Harjes providing the soundtrack. This gathering is free and open to everyone. Cool off by the water, meet new people, and dance under the sky in the Biggest Little City. The Doggy Style food truck will be on site serving hot dogs.

The Lazy 5 Music Series concludes with a free concert by Escalade, a series favorite with a mix of Motown, pop, rock, and R&B. Bring a blanket or chairs, along with snacks and a cooler, and enjoy an upbeat set of live music. Presented by Heritage Bank. For the comfort and safety of everyone, please leave pets at home. Reno Kennel Club hosts a multi-day dog show featuring conformation, the National Owner Handled Series, Junior Showmanship, and a 4 to 6 Month Beginner Puppy competition. Additional highlights include Best Puppy in Show, Best Bred By in Show, a PeeWee Competition, and a raffle. The event includes a designated specialty for the Miniature American Shepherd Club of the USA. Supported entries are offered for the Saluki Club of America, the Doberman Pinscher Club of Reno, and the American Rottweiler Club. Separate specialty shows from these clubs, as well as the Miniature American Shepherd Club of the USA, are planned at the same location under a separate premium list. Grooming space, box van, and RV reservations are available.

A weekend summer camp created specifically for adults offers nostalgic fun, plenty of activities, and time to socialize. Set about 50 minutes northwest of Reno, the setting spans more than 1,500 acres of forest for an experience that feels far from everyday life. Lodging is in 16 cabins with bunk-style sleeping for up to 12 people, bathrooms in each cabin, and showers located within each cabin village. The cost is $500 per person and includes accommodations, meals, cocktails, activities, and organized programming. Groups of adult friends or family can plan a memory-filled getaway, and a sellout is anticipated.

Space may be reserved in advance or accessed on a first come, first served basis, and each artist may select one panel per weekend to allow more creators to participate. This pilot program brings creativity to Reno’s parks with the goal of turning the space into an outdoor gallery for the community.
