Erwin Town Hall hosts a visit from the Veggie Van, a traveling produce stand that brings fresh, local fruits and vegetables to the community. In addition to shopping for groceries, visitors may find special on-site activities that share healthy eating guidance and information about nutrition benefits. All are welcome. Payment options include cash, checks, credit or debit, EBT/SNAP, and Farmers’ Market coupons for Seniors and WIC.

Kids Pokémon Day offers a relaxed space for card play, trading, and learning. Players, traders, and collectors of all ages are welcome. The route follows a former rail corridor that is well maintained and straightforward, with a gentle climb on the way out and a mild descent back to the finish. After crossing the line, a celebratory gathering features music, food, and drinks. Event proceeds support Friends of the Catharine Valley Trail. The surrounding area is known for vibrant fall foliage as well as numerous wineries and craft beer destinations.
