Author Denise Lawson will read from and sign Delilah and the Lilacs, the newest book in her Black Bear and Friends Sled Dog series. Attendees can meet Delilah along with some of her relatives and learn about their lives in Alaska and how they are trained. Books will be available for purchase and signing, and all proceeds support Black Bear Sled Dog, the nonprofit that rehomes retired dogs like Delilah.

Honor Father’s Day with an action packed NERF showdown at North Country Children’s Museum. Pick a team color, use your own blaster or borrow one provided by the museum, and jump into friendly games arranged on the second floor. The activity welcomes dads, kids, and families looking for energetic fun. Participation is included with regular museum admission.
