Solstice Healing Hour: Sound Healing + Reiki

A restorative healing hour led by Sound Alchemist Cheley Frazier and Reiki Master Bee Deartour blends immersive sound with gentle energy work. Participants rest in savasana while the resonant tones of crystal alchemy bowls, Koshi chimes, Ocean Drum, Old Wise Earth Gong, Crystal Lyre, and other instruments create a calming soundscape. The experience begins with intention setting and a guided meditation, then moves into a sound journey designed to relax the mind, body, and spirit. Reiki is offered to support emotional, physical, and spiritual healing. Space is limited and registration is required. A limited number of props are available, so bringing personal items for comfort is encouraged, such as a yoga mat or camping pad, blankets and a pillow, and an optional eye mask. Dressing in layers can help maintain comfort. All phones, smart watches, and electronic devices must be turned off and left in the lobby, and personal belongings should remain in the outer lobby area. Those who wear hearing aids are asked to remove them before the sound bath. Staying well hydrated can support the experience, and for safety and well-being, drugs and alcohol are not recommended before or after a sound journey. Benefits may include deep relaxation, stress relief, nervous system support, emotional release, greater clarity, inner calm, and a renewed sense of balance and well-being. No experience is needed and every body is welcome.

Hands that Nurture: Perceptions of Masculine Devotion: Unveiling of Malone Tradesmen Sculptures

An unveiling of the Malone Tradesmen sculptures anchors an exhibition of sculpture and photography that looks at masculine devotion, tenderness, and care as they appear in skilled work and everyday tasks. The project grows out of long-term relationships with tradesmen and craftsmen in the Adirondack region, inviting reflection on how labor can express connection. Conceived by Shawndel N. Fraser, a Black woman researcher and artist, the work reflects her sustained collaboration with white rural tradesmen, a quietly countercultural practice rooted in witnessing, mutual care, respect, and genuine connection.
