    The Voltage Hogs Supper Club

B Side Ballroom & Supper Club, 1 Clinton Plz, Oneonta · verified Oct 9
    See details

Dinner and a show come together at The B Side Ballroom & Supper Club as The Voltage Hogs unleash a fiery mix of jazz fusion, instrumental rock, and bold improvisation. Western New York musicians Jamie Holka on guitar and vocals and Paul Yates on bass join Nashville touring and session drummer David Northrup, a Central New York native from Chittenango whose credits include Boz Scaggs, John Mellencamp, Rick Derringer, John Waite, Wynonna, Travis Tritt, Tanya Tucker, The Oak Ridge Boys, Joe Diffie, Pam Tillis, Lee Greenwood, and The Disco Biscuits. He is currently touring with country artist Joe Nichols. This homecoming showcases a unique set built from original material by Holka and Northrup alongside high-voltage reinterpretations inspired by Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, Jeff Beck, Steely Dan, and Billy Cobham. Expect three top-tier players in an intimate setting, classic influences pushed into new territory, and music that refuses to fade into the background. It is not a tribute act and not a typical night out. Settle in for dinner, then let the sparks fly as The Voltage Hogs put the groove front and center.
