Two complementary exhibitions blend luck and hard work. Take part in a guided paranormal investigation at Castle on the Delaware led by Dream-Seekers Paranormal Investigations, based in Binghamton, New York. All proceeds are donated to the Castle to support future renovations and repairs. Tickets are $15 per person and the event is open to all ages. Food and beverages will be available when doors open. Built in 1895, the Castle has hosted numerous investigations over the years, and the team reports detecting unusual activity on each return visit.

American Legion Riders Post 259 hosts the ninth annual Foliage Run, a group motorcycle ride celebrating the season in Oneonta, New York. Explore a year of magic with a monthly book club centered on A Spell in the Wild: A Year (and Six Centuries) of Magic by Alice Tarbuck. Reading one chapter at a time, the group moves through the seasons to consider history, folklore, and hands-on practices, blending conversation with moments of reflection and simple ritual. The focus is on connection and shared curiosity, welcoming those who are new to witchcraft as well as longtime practitioners. A mini youth horse camp welcomes children ages 5 to 11, including first-timers and seasoned young riders, for hands-on learning about horses and the outdoors. Participants can expect a horse-focused learning activity, brushing, a creative craft, a light snack, and time for an outdoor game, hike, or scavenger hunt if the weather allows. A signed release and advance booking are required, and one parent or guardian must remain on the premises. A lounge area is available for adults during the session. Campers receive a light snack and a drink. Closed-toe shoes or boots and long pants are required, and insect repellent is recommended for the nature walk or scavenger hunt when conditions permit. Extra time at the end is set aside to finish craft projects. The fee is $80 per child. A punch-pass option is offered, and after five visits the final session is free.

The event is open to the public with a suggested donation of $5. Also featured is the “Dinner’s On Us” raffle, a week’s worth of gift certificates to local restaurants valued at $400.
