The lineup features Fishbone, the long running Los Angeles rock group formed in 1979 whose sound blends ska, punk, funk, metal, reggae, and soul. Pinkshift brings Baltimore rooted pop punk and punk infused with emo, grunge, post hardcore, and alternative rock, pairing anthemic hooks with heavy, gritty instrumentation. Philadelphia ska outfit Catbite adds high energy sets, having toured with Fishbone, RX Bandits, and PUP. Cat Crash rounds out the bill, a punk collective connected to NYC, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, China, and India, mixing 90s riot grrrl, 2000s pop punk, and fifth wave emo into a style they call BubbleTeaGrunge. Beyond the music, the festival features sideshow performers from Coney Island and a walk in art gallery. A vendor market plus food and beverage options will be on site. Coolers are not permitted. Urban Bike Tours of Bridgeport teams up with New Haven’s Outspokin for a car free exploration of NYC Summer Streets, rolling through bridges and borough highlights with lunch, a visit to Roosevelt Island, and a tram ride back to Manhattan included in the day. The gathering point is the sidewalk opposite the Metro-North Harlem–125th Street Station, with an option to link up on the train from New Haven. The ride heads south along Park Avenue’s car free route and pauses for a quick annual group photo before splitting into two choices. One option covers about 26 miles with fewer stops, featuring the Brooklyn Bridge, Gowanus, Park Slope, and Prospect Park. The other is roughly 16 miles with more time to enjoy Summer Streets programming, plus the Union Square farmers market and the Williamsburg Bridge. Both groups reconvene for lunch at Smorgasburg in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. After lunch, everyone rides together to Roosevelt Island, takes the tram back to Manhattan, and wraps up near Grand Central. Bikes ride free on Metro-North and no permit is required. Bring a tuned bicycle, a spare tube, water and snacks, money for lunch, a Metro-North ticket and subway or tram fare, and a patient, positive attitude for a full day. Trace the story of lighthouse innovation and service in an image-rich presentation that follows these coastal sentinels from 1776 to the present day. Author, historian, and lighthouse volunteer Jack Graham shares photographs and insights to show how advances in science and engineering, along with courage and commitment, helped American lights gain international admiration. Graham is a retired manager from Pennsylvania’s state park system, where he worked with historic resources including colonial farms, grist mills, iron furnaces, and farmstead buildings. Since retiring in 2005, he and his wife have spent part of many summers serving as docents at 17 lighthouses across the United States and Canada.

After the parade, a band performs in Moberg Park, with vendors and a variety of food options available, followed by the annual pie eating contest that closes the festivities.
