Jazz Night

At the Masonic Temple in Sag Harbor, a Hamptons JazzFest concert weaves community, culture, and cuisine in an intimate setting that highlights the artistry of live jazz. Attendees can enjoy dinner prepared by Tapovana Lunch Box along with bar refreshments, available while supplies last. The performance will be recorded for later broadcast on WLIW-FM, an affiliate of NPR. Admission is $20. The program features saxophonist Yuma Uesaka, a Japan-born artist now based in New York City who moved to the United States to study jazz and is active across clubs, concert series, and collaborative projects. Guitarist Alex Levine, a New York musician immersed in the city’s jazz community, frequently performs in small ensembles at venues and series throughout New York and the Northeast while collaborating on live and studio work. Bassist and composer Ben Rolston, originally from Ann Arbor and a graduate of the University of Michigan’s Jazz Studies program, contributed to the Detroit scene before relocating to New York and now appears nationwide as both a leader and sideman. Drummer and arts leader Claes Brondal, based in Sag Harbor, co-founded Hamptons JazzFest and serves as Executive Director, guiding year-round programming while performing and hosting events across the East End.
