Workers' Memorial Day Concert

This free Workers’ Memorial Day concert brings the community together to honor workers who lost their lives on the job and to stand in remembrance and solidarity. Hosted by Broome Tioga Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO and the Central New York Area Labor Federation, AFL-CIO, the program features live music by George Mann and Magpie along with remarks from labor leaders and local union members. Food and refreshments will be provided. Union members, families, and community supporters are invited to reflect, remember, and recommit to the ongoing fight for safer workplaces and dignity on the job. Attendees are encouraged to wear union colors, share their stories, and bring friends and family. Please RSVP so organizers can plan accordingly and ensure enough food and refreshments for everyone.
