Enjoy a night of clean stand-up in downtown Canton’s Arts District with Nashville-based comedian Brian Bates. He tours nationally at clubs, theaters, corporate events, and churches, has Dry Bar Comedy specials, has appeared as a guest at the Grand Ole Opry, and is heard on LaughUSA on SiriusXM. From 2020 through 2026 he co-hosted the Nateland Podcast with Nate Bargatze, and he now joins Aaron Weber and Dusty Slay as one of the hosts of the Public Figures Podcast. Admission is free thanks to Centennial Plaza and the Downtown Canton Partnership. The show is family friendly, though it is not designed specifically for children. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs and arrive early to secure a spot. An opening act will be announced. Tickets are free, and preregistration is requested. The route covers about 3 miles and typically takes 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. Launches take place within designated windows rather than a single start time, and both canoes and kayaks are available to rent. Trips are planned to align with the full moon, and a flashlight or headlamp is strongly recommended. Reservations are required at $25 per person.
