Canton Pickle Fest Fall Festival at Stark County Fairgrounds celebrates all things pickle with a full footprint devoted to the brined, the sweet, and the sour. More than ten pickle makers from Ohio, Michigan, and New York come together to share flavors that stretch from classic bread and butter and dill to playful creations like cotton candy, whisky, Bloody Mary, and candied cowboy. Food trucks serve menus built around pickle-inspired dishes, and bakers and confectioners offer treats such as macarons, sourdough breads, freeze-dried candies, and cheesecake. Creative vendors add to the fun with pickle-themed art, crochet, paintings, and hand-blown glass. Live entertainment, raffles, a kids art area, a foam pit, henna, face painting, games, and other attractions are part of the experience. Drinks and bites include pickle-infused vodka cocktails, beer, mocktails, pickle lemonade, pickle pizza, pickle pork rinds, and even pickle cheesecake. VIP early entry tickets are limited, and the event is expected to sell out. For those who are not pickle fans, there will be plenty of food, shopping, and other options that do not feature pickles.

AlterNation brings a 2000s rock party to Nathan's Patio Bar & Grill, featuring favorites from the decade across alternative hard rock, nu-metal, and pop-punk. With both female and male lead vocals, the set covers a wide range of songs made popular by bands fronted by women and men from that era.

The 12th annual alumni Baker-format bowling fundraiser returns to Eastbury Bowling Center with competition on the same lane pattern used at last year’s Sectionals. Teams may have up to six members. Entry is $200 for a team made up entirely of alumni from the same school, and $225 for a combination team that includes a bowler who did not attend, coach, or live in that school’s district. The format features a 12-game qualifier. If at least 20 teams enter, the top six advance, with head-to-head best-of-three matchups in rounds one and two, and a best-of-five final. Teams that do not advance can stay in the action with a second chance prize of $100. Current high school aged bowlers and younger are not eligible. Alumni from any Ohio school are welcome, and each team will choose the school it represents for historical records and the website. This conference fundraiser also includes a 50/50 and a ball raffle. Sweet T’s Cafe Confections presents an evening with medium Sirena La Point, who will move through the cafe and share any messages she receives for guests seeking a connection with loved ones who have passed. Receiving a personal message cannot be guaranteed. Guests who do receive a message will be sent an MP3 recording by email after the event. A special limited menu created for these gatherings will be available, offering everything from treats to heartier options. Each ticket holder is required to make a minimum purchase of 15 dollars from the limited menu in addition to the ticket cost. Tickets are 35 dollars, with 13 available.

Family-to-Family from NAMI Stark County is a free eight session course for relatives and other supporters of a loved one with mental health challenges. It is taught by trained family members. Stipends are available for those who complete the course, and registration is required. The course takes place at Make A Way.

Grunge DNA brings a full evening of live music to Nathan's Patio in Canton. This appearance is one of two the band has scheduled at the venue and will feature three complete sets. Guest conductor and music director finalist Mélisse Brunet leads a program she describes as “very hard to stay seated” through. Focused on composers renowned for rhythmic drive, it brings together Salso from “Tambao” by Horacio Fernández, George Gershwin’s Piano Concerto in F, and Dmitri Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 1. Pianist Spencer Myer appears at the piano, and the orchestra has many moments to shine.
