Celebrate National Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day at Caesar Creek State Park Campground with a Mountain Cubs Pedal Party focused on family fun. It is the closing morning of the Caesar Creek Trail Celebration campout weekend, and participation does not require camping. Children lead the pace while adults follow, with gentle trail segments, frequent breaks, and no emphasis on mileage. Repeating a favorite short stretch is encouraged. A CMBC ride leader and a BICP-certified coach guide the experience with skills games and obstacle challenges alongside the ride. Snacks are available throughout the morning. There is no racing and no timing. Every child must ride with a parent or guardian, there are no drop-offs, and leaders will be at the front and back so the group can regroup often. Arrive with a kid’s bike that is tuned and ready to roll. Helmets are required for all riders. Bring water and more snacks than expected. Riders must complete the CMBC waiver online in advance, and participants under 18 need a parent or guardian signature. After the Pedal Party, an intermediate ride heads out from the same location at an easy pace for about six miles with plenty of stops, suitable for adults and older kids who want additional miles. The terrain outside the campground loop is rooty, so progress can be slower than the distance suggests. Participation is free, and families are welcome to invite friends.

Step into a fairy tale at the Unicorn Princess Party, where little royalty can dress up, meet a unicorn, and enjoy a day of magical memories. Children are invited to arrive in their favorite princess gown or borrow a beautiful dress in sizes 1 to 10 for their portrait time. The experience includes light princess makeup and shimmering nails, a professional photo session with a unicorn, unicorn rides for participants under 50 pounds, a playful scavenger hunt, and time with friendly barn animals in the petting zoo. Each child ticket includes three professionally edited photos, with the option to purchase more, and images are delivered in about two to three weeks. One ticket is required per child, and an adult escort attends at no charge with each paid child. Capacity is limited. The celebration takes place on a working farm with indoor and outdoor areas and happens rain or shine, so dressing for the weather is encouraged. Most animals spend rainy spells inside the barn, and tickets are not refunded due to weather. Tickets are nonrefundable and cannot be exchanged. Attendance is limited to the reserved time slot, and late arrivals may participate only for the time that remains. The organizer may cancel and issue refunds if necessary. Extra fun is available with animal feed for a small fee, including bunny treats for one dollar and a large cup for three dollars. Expect a bit of mud and the authentic sights and smells of farm life, and choose royal attire ready for playful, farm friendly adventure.
