Punk with Purpose

Punk with Purpose: A Benefit for NAMI Hancock County offers an all-ages concert at The FBC Annex with performances by Resignation, Lame Ass Dads, Cash K. Allen & Honorable Mentions, and Birdie. Admission is free. Voluntary donations collected during the event will support NAMI Hancock County and strengthen local mental health advocacy and resources.

Navigating By the Sky

Chloe Nielson from the Millstream Astronomy Club presents Navigating by the Sky, a program on finding location and direction by using the Sun and the stars. After the presentation, attendees can observe the night sky with telescopes supplied by the club, and members will be available to help with their use. Personal telescopes are welcome as well. The program takes place at Riverbend Recreation Area in the Big Oaks Activity Area, Shelter 3. It is free, open to all ages, and no registration is required.

Tri County Cardinal Wrestling 1st annual summer camp

Tri County Cardinal Wrestling is launching its first annual summer camp featuring clinician Braxton Quaintance. A Division I athlete at Kent State University, Quaintance earned more than 20 collegiate wins in his freshman season. During his time at Lakota High School he amassed over 150 victories, was a three-time state placer, won a state title with a 46-0 record, and set the school’s fastest pin at five seconds. The camp fee is $50 and includes four sessions that are two hours each, a camp T-shirt, and a $5 lunch gift certificate for JB Twisters. Club members may attend at no cost. The camp is designed to support and promote wrestling in the Tri County area.
