Tri County Cardinal Wrestling 1st annual summer camp

Tri County Cardinal Wrestling is launching its first annual summer camp featuring clinician Braxton Quaintance. A Division I athlete at Kent State University, Quaintance earned more than 20 collegiate wins in his freshman season. During his time at Lakota High School he amassed over 150 victories, was a three-time state placer, won a state title with a 46-0 record, and set the school’s fastest pin at five seconds. The camp fee is $50 and includes four sessions that are two hours each, a camp T-shirt, and a $5 lunch gift certificate for JB Twisters. Club members may attend at no cost. The camp is designed to support and promote wrestling in the Tri County area.

Dinosaur Day!

Enjoy the second annual Dinosaur Day at the juice shop, featuring a playful prehistoric scene with large inflatable dinosaurs inside and outside. Children can explore the different dinos and take photos. Offerings include Dinosaur popsicles made from organic cold pressed juice, 8 oz dinosaur-themed organic cold pressed juices, and Dinosaur Eggs, which are organic chocolate superfood balls. Puzzle Race

Teams will face off in a fast paced jigsaw challenge at the library, racing to be the first to complete a 500 piece dinosaur puzzle that glows in the dark. The quickest group will be named champions, and prizes are awarded for first and second place. Participation is limited to seven teams. Each team must have 2 to 4 members and choose a team name in advance. Registration is required. Only one person per team needs to register and should include their name, email address, phone number, and the total number of people on the team, counting themselves. A casual group ride departs from Emory Adams Park with Making Miles Matter and local cyclists. It welcomes riders training for the Hancock Horizontal Hundred, those returning after a break, and anyone seeking company on the road. The pace is relaxed and everyone rides at a comfortable speed. Most outings finish before nightfall, though this can change with the route and season. Helmets are recommended, and bike lights help when daylight fades. Sharing the shop ride on Facebook each week earns one entry in the Hancock Horizontal Hundred 2026 raffle. Sharing the post and showing up for the ride are counted toward tracking entries, and more ways to earn entries and prizes will be announced as the season continues. Attendance at the Hancock Horizontal Hundred is not required to win raffle items. Making Miles Matter brings people together to support well being in both mind and body, and all speeds are welcome.

An estate auction presents the real estate, vehicles, personal property, and more from the Estate of Robert S. Pierce. The property features a rustic log cabin on 2.938 acres in the Van Buren School District, with a creek along the back boundary and proximity to Findlay. The cabin includes front and rear covered porches, a spacious living room with a wood burning stove, a distinctive kitchen and dining area, a full bathroom, a large bedroom with built in rustic storage, and a walk up attic. The auction is sizable, with portions running in two rings, and automotive items featured during the event. Real estate terms require a 5 percent deposit at the auction with the balance due within 30 days. The property sells as is with no warranties or guarantees. Buyers must have financing fully arranged in advance, with no contingencies for financing, appraisals, or other lender requirements. Inspections, including lead based paint, may be completed prior to the auction. The auctioneer and realtor represent the seller, and the seller reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. The estate is represented by Executor Georgia J. Black Swamp War Games 2026

The Barony of Red Spears hosts a multi-activity gathering at Hancock County Fairgrounds featuring armored and rapier melee, equestrian games, archery, thrown weapons, and a selection of classes. On-site camping is available, with renovated restrooms that include showers, convenient water access, and a limited number of power hookups. Leashed pets are welcome, and owners are responsible for cleanup. Admission is free for children five and under, youth ages six to seventeen are $5, adult members are $20, non members are $30, and families have an $80 cap. Camping is $10 per tent. Starter Storytime at Riverside Park’s Waterfalls Pavilion features songs, rhymes, and stories, along with playful scarf and instrument activities in the open air. Caregivers are expected to stay and actively engage with their child, and drop offs are not permitted. 2026 HHW/Paint & Electronics Collection

The Hancock County Solid Waste Management District is holding a limited-time Household Hazardous Waste, paint, and electronics collection at the Hancock County Fairgrounds. The drop-off is free for Hancock County residents with proof of residency, and materials from businesses, companies, or contractors will not be accepted. Approved HHW and paint items include latex and oil-based paints, stains, thinners, aerosols, mercury, propane cylinders, household cleaners, fertilizers, pesticides, acids, oxidizers, lead-acid batteries, antifreeze, motor oil, and fuels. Electronics accepted include many non-working items such as stereos, laptops, computers and accessories, gaming systems, security cameras, and sound bars, while appliances are not accepted. This one-time collection is supported in part by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency’s Recycle Ohio Grant Program and is presented in cooperation with ERG Environmental and the Hancock County Fairgrounds. As a helpful tip, latex paint can be solidified with an absorbent like kitty litter or floor-dry, then disposed of with regular trash or at a landfill once fully hardened and with the lid removed.

McComb’s sweetest tradition marks a milestone as the 20th Annual McComb Cookie Festival returns for a full weekend of cookies, music, and hometown pride. The Rev & Run 5K pairs a road race with the sights and sounds of the Fostoria Historical Society Car Show, blending miles on foot with community pride and family friendly fun. Held in tribute to Andrew Dolan, it channels his support for youth into every step, with all proceeds benefiting the Geary Family YMCA Youth Track Program. Runners and walkers of all paces are welcome. Each finisher receives a custom medal, and there are no competitive awards, only the satisfaction of crossing the line for a good cause. Beyond the course, the day features food vendors with bratwurst and a beer tent, a car show, kids games and bouncy houses, and live music from the Community Band, Gypsy Luvin, and Electrik Circus. It is a high energy celebration of community, legacy, and giving back.

Heritage Day Festival & Car Show

A full day of activities celebrates local heritage with a car show from the Fostoria Area Historical Society, children’s games, and tours of the society’s museum. The St. Wendelin Festival provides food vendors and a beer tent. Performances include the Fostoria Community Band, cheerleading awards and an exhibition by Fostoria City Schools, live music by Gypsy Luvin at In the Axe, and Electrik Circus at St. Wendelin. Tri the Arts Summer Camp

An inclusive four-day arts camp uniting music, visual art, and performance through a collaboration with Heartstring Melodies, Awakening Minds Art, and Marathon Center for the Performing Arts. Designed for children and teens with special needs, and open to their siblings and peer volunteers, it provides a supportive place to explore creativity. Participants receive instruction across the arts with supplies provided, a camp T-shirt, and an end-of-camp celebration featuring a showcase of their work. Recommended for ages 5 and older. Car Tunes on Main

Car Tunes on Main returns to Downtown Findlay for its 21st year, celebrating America’s 250th anniversary with special prizes and expanded vehicle classes. All vehicles are welcome, including Jeeps, cars, trucks, and semi-trucks, with no trailers permitted. Vehicle registration is available for participants, and the entry fee is $15 per vehicle. Every registered vehicle is entered for a chance to win $250 in a cash drawing. Top 25 awards will be presented, and an expanded semi-truck class features five specialty honors. Winners must be present to claim awards. The day features music from T-Town Mobile DJ, local food trucks, a 50/50 raffle, and event t-shirts for sale. Proceeds support the Open Arms Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Center.

Adult Ballroom Basics Dance Class (Smooth Pack)

Learn the foundations of ballroom dance in a six-week series that keeps things relaxed and encouraging. Each session concentrates on one style and includes time to review, so newcomers can get comfortable and returning dancers can refresh past skills. No prior experience is needed, and attending solo or with a partner are both welcome options. The Smooth Pack explores Waltz, American Tango, Foxtrot, and Foxy. Couples receive a $10 discount at registration. Participants must be 18 or older. Tuition is nonrefundable and cannot be transferred. MCPA may cancel a class, and refunds will be issued if that happens.

Fostoria Bills 1st Annual Golf Scramble

The inaugural Fostoria Bills Youth Football Golf Scramble at Fostoria Country Club raises funds to keep the youth program affordable for families while covering essentials like insurance, referee fees, and concessions. Every contribution supports player safety and quality on the field by funding new helmets, reconditioning existing equipment, and providing shoulder pads and uniforms. Team entry is $300 for a four-person scramble, or $75 per golfer, and includes 18 holes, a cart, and lunch with drinks. On-course contests include Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, and Longest Putt, and early payment secures a team’s spot. Those not playing can still contribute through sponsorships, including Gold, Silver, and Bronze hole options or an exclusive cart sponsor opportunity, as well as by donating raffle prizes, gift cards, or gift baskets. MASTER of MILLSTREAM

The Master of Millstream weekend brings a two-night program that uses both ovals. Night one runs on the 1/4-mile track with the American Late Model Iron Man Series, Great Lakes Traditional Sprints, Great Lakes Lightning Sprints, and the Dirt Truck Series. Night two moves to the 4/10-mile track, again led by the American Late Model Iron Man Series and Great Lakes Traditional Sprints, with FAST on Dirt joining the lineup. The American Late Model Iron Man Series and Great Lakes Traditional Sprints compete on both tracks, and in each class the driver who excels on both ovals will earn an additional award, a clear test of versatility and skill.
