🐱 Walking in a Whisker Wonderland @ Toledo Botanical Garden | Thursday (12/11) at 4:00pm – Whisker Wonderland is at the Crosby Center with a treat-walk box you fill for your cat or dog, vendors slinging last-minute gifts, and a raffle. It funds Willow & Whiskers’ future bookstore and FeLV+ rescue lounge, so leave pets home, bring cash, and holiday spirit.
🎨 The Art of Giving: Toledo School for the Arts Fundraiser @ Just Toledo | Thursday (12/11) at 5:30pm – Whether you’re finishing the gift list or hiding from it, this Toledo School for the Arts fundraiser lets you shop local while student musicians handle the soundtrack. It is free, and 20% funds private lessons, school trips, production supplies, and more. Feel-good retail therapy, Toledo-style.
🎭 The Nutcracker @ Stranahan Theater | Friday (12/12) at 10:30am – The Nutcracker returns with Toledo Ballet and Toledo Symphony delivering Tchaikovsky’s sparkle for the longest-running production in North America. Expect magical mice, a world tour of confections, and a Sugar Plum sendoff. Bring the kids, or indulge your inner Clara, all are welcome.
🎠 Children’s Wonderland @ Sylvania Exhibition Center | Friday (12/12) at 11:00am – Load the kids, your nostalgia, and a spare coffee, and head to Tam-O-Shanter for Children’s Wonderland, a Northwest Ohio holiday staple for over 50 years. Expect classic displays, train rides, Santa photos, and yes, the glorious Mold-A-Matic, all wrapped in pure hometown cheer.
