The piece unpacks deception, the misuse of authority, and systemic negligence tied to early-2000s Midwestern water policy, asking audiences to consider a pressing question... how safe are we, really? Though fictional, the work highlights ongoing struggles in communities such as Flint, Jackson, and Newark, calling for accountability and constant vigilance in decisions that affect public health. Something Cold presents a Halloween edition of Black Planet at Paris Bar Detroit in Detroit.
