Discover the Chilo Lock 34 River Museum inside the former operations building of Ohio River Lock and Dam 34. Centered on the story of life and work along the Ohio River, the museum features interactive displays on steamboats, major floods, and the day-to-day experiences of people who lived and labored on the water. It is open to the public and admission is free. Private guided tours or interpretive programs can be arranged for groups of 12 or more by email, subject to limited availability.

9Lincoln hosts its third annual car show with $10 vehicle registration and free general admission. The day features food trucks, vendors, awards, raffles, a 50/50, and live music by American Backbone. 9Lincoln is a nonprofit in Harlan Township that supports Harlan Township Fire Department personnel, their families, auxiliary members, and the wider community. Fundraisers organized by the group include the Jeep Meet, Egg My Yard, a cornhole tournament, and this car show. Money raised helps make community programs possible, including the Easter Egg Hunt at Whitacre Park, Trunk or Treat and Candy Cane Christmas at HTFD, annual school supply donations, and adopting families for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Last year, the organization awarded two $500 scholarships, one for LM and one for Goshen. 9Lincoln also assists fire victims in Harlan Township when needed and provides meals during fire runs and trainings, with plans to grow its outreach.

Simmons Farms is planning a small, carefully curated Saturday market at the farm, with the farm serving as the anchor booth and limited space for three to six outside vendors each market day. The aim is to create a local, meaningful experience that feels worth the trip. Vendor interest is centered on farmers and growers, bakers, flower and meat vendors, pantry and specialty food producers, and a select group of farm-friendly handmade makers. The market schedule is still being finalized, whether weekly or twice monthly, while Saturdays at the farm will continue with the store open and seasonal highlights available throughout the season.
