DJ Anjali and The Incredible Kid bring a vibrant Holi celebration to McMenamins Grand Lodge, filling the grass with high-energy Bollywood and Bhangra beats and a cascade of plant-based color. After four sold out editions, this is their biggest fest yet, featuring Anjali’s Gulabi Gang dance troupe alongside the PDX Bhangra troupe. The event uses only organic powders handmade in India by farmers and tribal communities, crafted from flowers, seeds, and vegetables like rose, spinach, marigold, and turmeric. Each paid entry includes a packet of colors, and a portion of the proceeds supports farmers in India. Everyone is welcome at this all-ages gathering. Expect to get covered in bright hues, so wear white or clothes you do not mind getting messy, and please note that outside colors are not permitted. The festival has been rescheduled due to weather, and tickets from the original date will be honored.
McMenamins Grand LodgeTuesday Night Fall League 2026
This eight week fall league features a two person scramble format with weekly chances to win cash. Each pair meets a different twosome every week, and all skill levels are welcome. There is a one time registration fee of $25 per person. The weekly cost is $20, which covers green fees, Payball for Net and Gross, and KP’s. All players are automatically entered into the side games, and each KP winner receives a $10 credit for use in the Pro Shop. Teams earn one point per hole won and three points for winning overall Net strokes, plus one bonus point for attendance each week, for a maximum of 13 points per team per week. The eighth week is a position round with 1st vs 2nd, 3rd vs 4th, and so on. The points leader at the end is crowned champion, and places 1 through 4 receive cash prizes.

Pitcher Plants and Waterwise Wonders
Presented by the Washington County Master Gardener Association as part of the In the Garden Series, this workshop explores carnivorous and drought-tolerant plants. Discover the specialized structures of pitcher plants and compare them with waterwise species, focusing on the varied forms, textures, and adaptations that help them thrive with limited moisture. Learn where some of these plants originate, the conditions they prefer, and practical ways to grow and care for them. The session also introduces nature journaling, using simple prompts and basic supplies to help you observe more closely, sketch details, and write about what you notice. A guided tour visits the Learning Garden’s pitcher plant bed and an area dedicated to waterwise plantings, with time to journal along the way. Bring a journal, pens, and pencils if you have them, or use the paper and drawing and writing materials provided. No prior nature journaling experience is required.

Stephen Wilson Jr. brings his genre-spanning songwriting and raw storytelling to Grand Lodge for an all-ages show. Hailing from rural southern Indiana and now rooted in Nashville, his path has included being a finalist in Indiana State Golden Gloves boxing, working as a scientist, and serving as a lead guitarist and songwriter in an indie rock band. He left the lab in 2016 to sign a publishing deal with BMG Nashville, and his writing has since been recorded by Caitlyn Smith, Old Dominion, Tim McGraw, Sixpence None the Richer, Leigh Nash, and others. His breakthrough came with søn of dad, a 22-track debut double album on Big Loud Records dedicated to his late father. The release topped Holler’s year-end list and earned nods from Whiskey Riff, Wide Open Country, and Rolling Stone. He has appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’s #LateShowMeMusic, and Later... with Jools Holland, along with an in-depth feature on CBS Saturday Morning. A deluxe edition added his rendition of Stand By Me, which has drawn tens of millions of streams. He recently completed a sold-out U.S. run of the søn of dad tour and supported HARDY on select Jim Bob World Tour dates, including the finale at Madison Square Garden. Fall Fluorescents Glow Ball Tournament 2026
Experience a night of glow-in-the-dark golf with a 4-person, 9-hole scramble featuring a shotgun start. Entry is $40 per player or $160 per foursome. Each group receives five glow balls provided by Killarney West at registration, and additional balls can be purchased at the clubhouse or from the beverage cart for $10 each. A check-in period is planned, followed by a group photo on the 4th tee, a walk to starting holes, and the start of play. Prizes will recognize first, second, and third place, along with closest-to-the-pin winners on holes 3 and 7. Festive glow attire is encouraged. Drive carts are not permitted for night golf, and the tournament will be held rain or shine. Forest Grove Lions Run/Walk for Sight and Hearing
This annual run and walk supports sight and hearing initiatives in the community. All net proceeds help provide eyeglasses, hearing aids, and scholarships for Audiology and Optometry students. Early bird pricing is offered at $30 for the 5k and $35 for the 10k. Standard online registration fees are $35 for the 5k and $40 for the 10k, with no transaction fee, and students receive a reduced rate until registration closes. Register by the stated deadlines to qualify for a commemorative long sleeve racer mesh T-shirt and a personalized chipped bib, with shirts guaranteed only for those who meet the shirt cutoff. Pre-race packet pickup is available so participants can collect shirts and other race materials in advance. Clear course markings, mile and kilometer indicators, and volunteers will guide each route, and the 10k covers the 5k loop twice. There are no restrooms on the course, but water and restrooms are available after the race. Law enforcement will be on site to assist with traffic, and emergencies should be reported by calling 911. Category winners will be announced on the event website. Participants must be 18 or have parental permission if younger, agree to and sign a liability waiver, be medically and physically prepared, and follow all event rules and instructions. There is also an opportunity to make an additional donation during registration to support Forest Grove Lions sight programs, or donations can be made by check with “Run/Walk for Sight fund” noted. Eyeglasses and hearing aids will be collected for the Lions foundation.

Celebrate the season with the 6th Annual Bogeys + Bones Night Golf Tournament, a Halloween themed, 9 hole, 4 person scramble with a shotgun start and a field capped at 18 teams of four. Teams check in at the clubhouse, where one player can handle the whole group’s registration and pick up a team bag filled with LED glow balls, a starting hole assignment, a scorecard, glow bracelets, and a few extra goodies. The LED balls activate with a flashlight or phone light and can be turned off the same way, and extras are available for purchase if needed. Expect classic scramble play spiced up with playful course twists like a pet graveyard and a pumpkin patch on select greens, closest to the pin and long drive challenges, and even a special gloves tee off. Stop by the clubhouse for pumpkin chipping, where sinking a shot in a pumpkin can earn a chance to shave strokes. Prizes await the top three teams, with a trophy for first place, along with awards for KP, Long Putt, and Longest Drive. Costumes are encouraged, and a fan voted contest will crown winners in categories including Scariest, Funniest, Favorite Group Costume, and Golfer’s Choice. The tournament is walking only, and a beverage cart will be stationed at the 6th tee box. Alcohol consumed on course must be purchased from the facility, while non alcoholic drinks and snacks are welcome to bring. A group photo is planned before everyone heads to assigned holes, then a horn signals the shotgun start with Team A teeing off first on each hole. Costumes are highly encouraged. Participants can cast votes for the costume contest during check-in and again when passing the clubhouse before the count is taken. Prizes are awarded to first, second, and third place teams, with a trophy for the top finishers, plus awards for KP, Long Putt, and Longest Drive. Costume categories include Scariest, Funniest, Favorite Group Costume, and Golfer’s Choice. The course mixes classic scramble play with seasonal twists.
