Ocean Explorers: Science & Sensory Adventure Camp

Aaron's Corner LLC, 1800 Hoskins St, Newberg · verified Jul 31
    See details

Ocean Explorers is a small-group camp where children explore marine science through hands-on play and guided discovery in a calm, supportive environment. Campers investigate sea life and habitats, look closely at shells and coral, and learn about waves and the world beneath the surface. Simple water experiments invite kids to pour, mix, test, and observe, while sensory stations offer water, sand, shells, and varied textures that each child can engage with at a comfortable pace. Movement games inspired by ocean animals encourage body awareness, coordination, imagination, and purposeful motion. Throughout the experience, campers practice asking questions, making observations, and sharing what they find, building curiosity and confidence along the way. Groups are organized for K to 2nd and for 3rd to 5th graders, and all abilities are welcome. No prior science background is needed, making it a good fit for children who enjoy ocean animals, water play, sensory exploration, experiments, movement, and hands-on discovery. Sessions for K to 2nd are limited to 6 participants, and sessions for 3rd to 5th are limited to 8. Please send a water bottle, comfortable clothing suitable for movement and messy, water based activities, and any sensory or comfort items that help your child regulate. A snack can be included if needed for your child's session. First time participants should complete an intake form before attending. New campers will have a brief intake meeting and a one time $50 intake fee for the camp season. The camp takes place at Aaron’s Corner LLC in Newberg. The weekly cost is $100 for K to 2nd and $125 for 3rd to 5th.
