    The 46th annual intertribal festival at the Museum of Indian Culture celebrates culture, community, and tradition with a full slate of music, dance, food, and hands-on activities. Experience Native American drumming, singing, and dancing, along with powwow demonstrations, craft vendors, life skills demonstrations, and Indigenous cuisine featuring fire-roasted corn. Headlining is Bill Miller, a Mohican flutist, recording artist, songwriter, and storyteller who is a three-time Grammy Award winner. The Youngblood Singers of the Shinnecock Nation appear as the host drum, joined by Inca flute artist Sicanni Purizaca and the Salinas Family from Mexico City presenting Aztec dance. Families can enjoy a kids craft area, atlatl and tomahawk throwing, and talks held in a teepee. A grand entrance is part of the festivities, and the event takes place rain or shine. Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for teens and seniors, children 11 and under attend free, and members receive two complimentary tickets. Attendees may want to bring lawn chairs and an appetite for culture and community.

    Iron Pigs Cornhole Night

    The 5th Annual Cornhole Night returns to Coca-Cola Park with a full day built around friendly competition and baseball. Teams bring their own partner for a cornhole tournament that unfolds before the game, then settle in to watch the Pigs face the Scranton RailRiders. A fireworks show follows the game, and the bracket finals close out the night on the field. Pre-registration is encouraged to secure a spot, as the field is capped at 72 teams. Each team plays four preliminary rounders to set seeding and is guaranteed at least six games. After seeding, play continues in double-elimination brackets split into Advanced, Competitive, and Social divisions based on results. Registration includes two tickets per team for the game and party patio, along with buffet service and soft drinks on the party patio during the game. The entry fee is $105 per team, payable through the Scoreholio app, Venmo, or in cash on site. Spectator passes are available for $30 and include early entry to watch the tournament plus access to the picnic patio and buffet during the game. Cash prizes go to the top three finishers in the Competitive division at $800, $500, and $300, and to the top three in the Social division at $200, $150, and $100. The top three Backyard teams receive gift cards and prizes. Payouts are based on a 64-team field. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, and outside food or drinks are not permitted.
