Choose your colors, themes, and project when you arrive, and please note that selection is first come, first served. The studio offers a wide range of projects priced from $25 to $95 and up, including acacia cutting boards, round or rectangular wood trays, resin seascape frames, coasters, tumblers, and more. You may also bring your own tray or board, with additional pour fees based on size... $5 for up to a 6 inch pour, $10 for 7 to 10 inches, $15 for 11 to 14 inches, and $20 for 15 inches or larger. If you plan to complete two projects, the second pour is $25 plus the applicable size-based pour fee. Instructors can help personalize each piece, and optional sand and shells are available for a beachy effect for an extra $3 to $8, or you can bring your own. Resin requires 48 hours to cure, so finished pieces will be ready for pickup two to three days after the workshop. Ages 13 and up are welcome. Gallery 50 presents “Here Comes the Sun,” a new exhibition that bids farewell to winter and welcomes the brighter seasons. The show highlights the sun through landscapes, flowers, sky scenes, and more, presented in oil, acrylic, pastel, photography, watercolor, and enamel on copper. Featured area artists include Jonathan Frazier, Robyn Jacobs, Sarah Maclay, Pat McCleary, Mary Moores, Judy Pyle, Jayne Shord, Anne St. John, Lindsay Tozier-School, Anita Williams, and Marti Yeager. The gallery also spotlights a new mural in Music Makers by Nigel Sussman, an artist based in Berkeley, CA, who spent formative years in Smithsburg, MD, and Waynesboro. His large-scale works pair simple color palettes with intricate seek-and-find imagery that often features fantastical architecture or imaginary machines, all rendered by hand. In addition to the exhibition, the gallery offers new fine art and crafts by local creators, including pottery, wood carvings, jewelry, stained glass art, and books by local authors. Gallery 50 is owned and operated by the Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro and showcases fine art and high-quality crafts from local artists and artisans.

Expect glow sticks and other props, face painting, oversized games, a DJ playing music, and plenty of refreshments including a snack bar, a dessert bar, and alcohol-free mocktails. A guardian must be present for participants ages 4 to 10. Adults who want to take part in the race alongside their child can purchase an add-on ticket that also provides access to the food bar, while guardians who are only supervising do not need a ticket. Track and Field: Jumps Camp
This track and field jumps camp is built to help athletes unlock their potential in the jumping disciplines, including high, long, and triple jump plus pole vault. Participants select the events they want to focus on and receive targeted instruction. Coaches provide individual evaluations, then teach specific drills to sharpen technique. Individualized attention is a hallmark of the program. Training incorporates video analysis so jumpers can see their form and make adjustments. Everyone leaves with practical drills to continue at home and a clearer understanding of effective strength work in the weight room, including lifts that support success in the jumps. Both overnight and day camp formats are offered.

This overnight field hockey camp serves 5th through 8th graders and is open to both teams and individual participants at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. As part of this milestone, a Volunteer Open House welcomes community-minded people to learn how they can support the mission through signature events, field trips, guest services, and everyday operations. Volunteers assist professional staff with programming, gardening, grounds care, tours and interpretation, collections and exhibits, and guest engagement. Attendees can stop by Renfrew’s Visitors Center in the big white bank barn to ask questions, pick up or complete a volunteer form, and meet Renfrew’s Executive Director. Stay for a few minutes or for an hour. All skill and ability levels are welcome. Multiple open house dates are offered during seasonal operating hours. No registration required.
CRUISE IN AT PARSONS INTERSTATE FORD
Parsons Interstate Ford - Official hosts a cruise-in welcoming cars, trucks, and motorcycles of all kinds. Registration is $10 and handled on site with no advance sign-up. A food truck and ice cream will be available, along with a Chinese auction. More than ten awards will be presented.

A free, public gathering for fiber enthusiasts welcomes every craft, including spinning, weaving, knitting, and crochet. Bring whatever you use to spin or to weave, whether antique or modern, and enjoy working alongside others. The group meets in the History Room on the lower level.

Explore how breathwork and yogic bandhas can support embodied movement in a focused workshop led by guest teacher Caroline Felix, E-RYT 500, E-RYT 200, at The Joy of Yoga & Wellness. Through guided practice, you will apply pranayama and energetic locks in motion to connect with the subtle body, cultivate stability and awareness, and move with greater ease. Open to all experience levels. Yoga Alliance registered teachers are eligible for continuing education credit. The cost is $50. At the Greater Waynesboro Chamber of Commerce, travel experts Carol DiBiase of Cruise Planners and Dan Brooks-Wells of Collette lead an informational session highlighting two 2027 tours. The first focuses on exploring the legacy of the Incan Empire in Machu Picchu in September 2027. The second features a luxurious six-night cruise along the Danube River in December 2027, with European towns dressed for the holidays.

August Stained Glass Workshop- Window
Local stained glass artist Chris Parker leads a hands-on workshop where participants create their own stained glass window using the copper foil method. Attendees choose their glass and learn every step needed to complete the piece, with all supplies provided. Projects are finished by the end of the session and taken home, and can be completed as a sun catcher, nightlight, or garden stake.
Build with Me Storytime (Ages 3-5)
A weekly storytime for ages 3 to 5 that begins with a read-aloud, then invites children to build a related creation using blocks or other materials. Each session pairs a story with a simple, hands-on building activity inspired by the tale.

Greyhound Community Night
A lively evening featuring food and beverages in support of the Greyhound Booster Clubs. The program celebrates champions from the previous school year and introduces this year’s fall sports teams. Entertainment is provided by Greyhound Cheerleading and the Greyhound Marching Band.

Shippensburg CornFest Cruz-in
This free Cruz-in at the Shippensburg Cornfest welcomes classic, modern, custom, and antique cars as well as trucks. Arrowheads and Archery
Discover an exhibit that highlights arrowheads and the bow technology used by indigenous hunters in the region. Throughout the day, the display offers insights into how bows have evolved and been used across history. At set times, visitors can take part in live, hands-on archery sessions, with bows sized for everyone from toddlers to adults. Activities begin at the Welsh Barrens Visitor Center.
