Now in its seventh year, the Adam Zook Memorial Run supports suicide awareness and helps fund local scholarships. Participants can choose from a 5K run, a 9.88 mile run, or a 2 mile walk. Online registration is available for race entries, donations, and ordering extra shirts. Entry fees are $25 for adults and $15 for participants 18 and under, with day-of registration priced at $30 and $20. Spectators are welcome at no cost. Celebrate the season at DelGrosso's Park with the 39th Annual Harvestfest, a family-friendly gathering filled with flavorful food, artisan crafts, and free entertainment included with admission. For $8, guests can enjoy park rides and shows. Children under 24 months receive free entry, and Silver and Gold Season Pass holders are admitted at no cost with a valid pass at the gate. Expect wood carving, roaming entertainers, amusement rides, and a wide range of craft vendors. Little ones can explore Buddy Bear's Barnyard Fun, a kids activity area set within the Tipton Creek train tracks that features a petting zoo and playful photo opportunities. Please note that the Super Spiral and the Tipton Creek Railroad will not be operating during the festival, and picnicking or bringing coolers is not permitted. All admission gates accept cash. Those paying with credit, debit, or a park gift card should use the Water Side admission gate or the Park Side admission gate near the security booth. Many independent vendors accept cash, while park stands take credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and park gift cards. Main stage and additional entertainment lineups will be announced. At Stone Valley Recreation Area, Shaver’s Creek naturalists lead a relaxed bird walk focused on the migration moving through central Pennsylvania. Along the trail, they point out songs, calls, and distinguishing field marks while highlighting species such as thrushes, sparrows, warblers, and woodpeckers. Birders of all experience levels are welcome, and a limited number of binoculars are available to borrow. Wear sturdy hiking boots and bring binoculars if you have them, any favorite guidebooks, and plenty of curiosity. Thanks to support from Wiscoy for Animals, this program is free and open to the public.

Veterans gather on the first Thursday of each month for a relaxed meetup where conversations flow, new connections are made with fellow locals, and pizza with additional refreshments is on hand. The setting is designed to be comfortable and safe, offering a welcoming place to share experiences and unwind together.

Teams compete at Trivia Night at Juniata Brewing Company, hosted by The Professor, Jim Price. It is free to play, with questions covering a wide range of topics and a fresh set every session. High scores earn gift cards from the brewery, and guests can sample Juniata Brewing Company’s brews while the game unfolds.
