Live music in New Freedom, PA

Papermakers Stadium at Spring Grove Area High School hosts a major marching band showcase presented by the Spring Grove Music Boosters. The event brings together high school ensembles from across the region, featuring dozens of student musicians in a program of field shows and spirited performances. Past editions have included the SG Rockets, Central York, MARCHING NIGHTHAWKS, Kennard Dale, Northeastern, West York, and William Penn. Tickets are sold at the gate, with cash and cards accepted.

AMH Records presents a night centered on live music and community spirit. The music begins with Mandy Buttrum, continues with David Sparrow, and concludes with Nom De Plume. Admission is free, and donations are appreciated. A food truck will be available, and guests may bring their own beverages. Canned food contributions will be collected for the local food bank.

Indie artist Keri Edwards presents an acoustic show featuring original songs and familiar covers that span decades and genres, weaving in personal stories about their place in her life. Her powerful, soulful voice drives the performance. She has been nominated for Hollywood Independent Music and Central PA Music Awards and is a Susquehanna Style Readers' Choice winner. The show takes place at Bridgewater Public House in York, Pennsylvania, which opened in 2019 and offers a menu with burgers, steaks, and sandwiches.
