A day on the links at Hickory Heights Golf Course supports Operation Paws for Homes, with funds helping rescue, care for, and place homeless dogs and cats in loving homes. The outing features a shotgun start and concludes with a hearty meal that includes fried chicken with breast, leg, wing, and thigh, a choice of baked potato or potato salad, coleslaw, dinner rolls, fresh fruit, chips, cookies, and beverages including beer and soda. Registration is $70 per player, and a registration form is available by emailing Tom Martin at martinndt@comcast.net. Additional ways to contribute include mulligans at three for a $5 donation with a limit of three per golfer, as well as hole sponsorships for $100. Whether aiming for the top of the leaderboard or enjoying a relaxed round, every participant helps animals in need through Operation Paws for Homes.

Spend a relaxed day at St. John Lutheran Church dedicated to scrapbooking, card making, painting, and other creative projects. Stay for the full session or drop in for the amount of time that fits your schedule, and enjoy creating alongside friends and neighbors in the community. Proceeds support the church. Seating options include a full 8-foot table for $30 or a half table for $20, with electricity available if needed. Ali leads a monthly baking series that spotlights a different kind of baked good in each session. Participants learn the techniques behind Market Made favorites through a rotating lineup that includes Gluten Free Bread, Sourdough Discard Treats, Gluten Free Pie Crust, Allergen Free Cookies, Gluten Free Bagels, and Allergen Free Sweets. Presented by PA Jeeps, Inc., Dallastown American Legion SAL Squadron 605, and Dallastown American Legion Auxiliary Post 605, this sixth annual memorial ride and festival honors Brianna Dorgan while raising awareness for veteran suicide prevention and access to mental health support. Riders will set out from the Dallastown Area School District High School parking lot and travel to Dallastown Community Park on a route of about an hour, with Fire Police handling intersections for a smooth and safe procession. Motorcycles and Jeeps are welcome, and the pace is relaxed and family friendly. The ride concludes as the festival gets underway at Dallastown Community Park, featuring more than 150 vendors, live music, eight food trucks, a beer truck, raffles and 50/50 drawings, a chance to win at least one Caribbean trip, and over 100 additional prizes. Proceeds from the ride and festival support free and reduced cost therapy and counseling for veterans and individuals in need in local communities and across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Car Show at Genesis Church showcases a wide range of cars, motorcycles, and trucks alongside great music and a welcoming, family friendly atmosphere. Enjoy treats from Stacey's Orangeade, Jacked Up, and Savory's Pumpkin Funnel Cakes while exploring the displays. Day-of vehicle registration is $20 per entry. Participants can compete for numerous awards, including Best in Show, Rat Rod, Custom, Muscle, Foreign, Motorcycle, Pre-'49, Trucks, Classic, Jeep, 2WD Truck Van SUV, and 4WD Truck Van SUV. Every car entry receives a goodie bag, and the first 50 entries also receive a dash plaque. Drivers with automatic convertible tops can take part in the Convertible Top Race. Registration is available upon arrival or online in advance. Proceeds support the American Cancer Society with direct assistance for cancer patients in York County and help fund Genesis Church community outreach initiatives. A portion of food truck sales benefits the New Salem PTO. Craft vendors and local organizations can request a vendor spot, and donations to the silent auction such as gift cards, services, and gift baskets are welcome. This car, truck, and motorcycle show welcomes clubs and all vehicles of interest. The first 75 registered receive dash plaques. Judging is by participants and spectators. Aligned with Suicide Prevention Month, this outdoor, family-friendly festival brings the community together to raise awareness, share education, and support mental health while honoring the life and legacy of Brianna. Attendees can look forward to raffles, a variety of food trucks, children’s games, more than one hundred vendor spots, a motorcycle and Jeep ride, and on-site mental health awareness and prevention programs. As the largest fundraiser of the year for its organizers, the event helps sustain free and reduced-cost mental health therapy, assistance with copays, support groups, and QPR suicide prevention training. It is held in loving memory of Brianna, who passed away on December 3, 2020 at the age of 15, reflecting her wish to help others by building a strong, supportive community. Papermakers Stadium at Spring Grove Area High School hosts a major marching band showcase presented by the Spring Grove Music Boosters. Her powerful, soulful voice drives the performance. She has been nominated for Hollywood Independent Music and Central PA Music Awards and is a Susquehanna Style Readers' Choice winner. The show takes place at Bridgewater Public House in York, Pennsylvania, which opened in 2019 and offers a menu with burgers, steaks, and sandwiches.

Crispus Attucks York presents the fourth annual Veterans Stand Down, a one-stop resource day supporting veterans who are unhoused, at risk, or in transition.
