The Penn State Summer Jam (Nationals North) is a two-day youth basketball tournament hosted on the Penn State University campus in State College. Boys and girls teams are welcome, with a 3-game guarantee and games played under one roof at the Nittany Valley Sports Centre. Teams can expect pool-to-bracket play, trainer support on-site, clock management, and awards for top finishers.

Conner Gilbert returns to J.L. Farm and Cidery, 814 Cider Works in State College for a live acoustic set. This appearance features his music performed in an unplugged format at the cidery.

Maytag Virgin is a stage production by Audrey Cefaly presented by The Next Stage Theatre Company. Directed by Jason Zanitsch and featuring Elizabeth Baptista and Mike Waldhier, the story follows two complex people as they face loss and fear, with a romantic comedy twist. Doors open at 7:00 PM and the show starts at 7:30 PM.

Coal Aly makes its debut at Axemann Brewery in an event that supports Out of the Cold Centre County. Admission is by donation, and a portion of food and beverage sales will benefit the organization, a grassroots effort that serves community members experiencing homelessness by providing shelter, food, and support services during the transition to permanent housing.

Hosted by the State College Food Bank, the 2026 No Cost Produce Market offers free, fresh local produce for the community. The market is held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. Registration is not required and everyone is welcome. Please remember to bring your own bags for carrying produce.

Koch Funeral Home and the YMCA of Centre County are collaborating on a grief education and support group for those coping with the loss of a loved one. Sessions provide guidance on grief and mourning, time to share personal stories, and a supportive setting with others who have experienced loss. Cool off with a kid-focused film at The State Theatre as part of an annual collaboration with Schlow Library. This screening features Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, where Sid, voiced by John Leguizamo, nabs a nest of dinosaur eggs and lands in trouble. Manny, voiced by Ray Romano, and Diego, voiced by Denis Leary, rally their prehistoric friends to venture into a hidden underground world to bring him back, meeting a range of creatures along the way, including hungry carnivores and Buck, a determined weasel who hunts dinosaurs. Attendees can enter a drawing for a free pair of passes to DelGrosso's Park & Laguna Splash by registering and having tickets scanned at the information table. A playful, hands-on cooking class created for children ages 4 to 8 introduces kitchen basics and simple techniques for preparing tasty meals and healthy snacks that can be made again at home. No prior kitchen experience is needed, and activities are tailored to young cooks. This session features Chex mix, apple nachos, and a yogurt veggie dip. The cost is $10 for members and $15 for non-members.

Live After 5 brings summertime sounds to MLK Plaza with performances by local musicians in Downtown State College. This installment features Racer Y on stage. On select dates, the series offers a Taps & Tunes edition that adds a relaxed beverage garden with craft drinks from Central PA Tasting Trail members. Wednesday nights at The Press Taphouse are all about West Coast Swing. This hands-on community build brings neighbors and partners together to deliver a vibrant playspace for the neighborhood.
