"Deathtrap"

A Season 51 comedy thriller, Deathtrap by Ira Levin, takes the stage in the Tom S. Gettys Courtroom on the second floor. Sidney Bruhl, once a celebrated writer of Broadway shockers, is mired in writer’s block and money troubles. A breakthrough appears when a student from his seminar submits a script with undeniable hit potential. With his wife’s involvement, Sidney plans to suggest a collaboration for shared credit, though the true intentions behind that offer are not so clear. The result is a darkly witty game of ingenuity, sharp twists, and sudden surprises that tightens the suspense all the way to the end. Directed by Johnny Hohenstein, the cast features Dalton Riddle as Sidney Bruhl, Ben Allen as Clifford Anderson, Julia Howard as Myra Bruhl, Janine D’Andrea as Helga Ten Dorp, and Steve Schreur as Porter Milgrim. The creative team includes stage manager Rachel Griffin, fight choreography by Robert and Gina Brafford, administrative producer Susan L. D. Smith, technical producer and set designer Alex Peña, costume designer Jess Peeples, props manager Mary Beth Schwallie, lighting designer Jackson Rains, and sound designer Aly Cook. Recommended for ages 16+. Season Diamond sponsors are Comporium and Founders Federal Credit Union, and the Arts Council of York County provides venue space for this production.

Monthly Sound Healing & Chakra Balancing

At Wyld Magick Center for Holistic Healing, this sound healing and chakra balancing session focuses on restoring harmony to the body’s energy centers, which shape emotions, thoughts, and daily experiences. When these centers are out of alignment, it can influence overall well-being, so the gathering emphasizes gentle practices that encourage balance. Disruptions may appear as trouble letting go of emotions, physical discomfort or tension, ongoing health challenges, relationship strain, difficulty meeting basic needs, feeling disconnected from others or inner guidance, heightened sensitivity, or taking on the energy of those around you. Regular balancing can help release stagnant energy and create a steady point of harmony, making it easier to return to a natural state. Many people describe feeling more relaxed after a session, sleeping more soundly, experiencing less stress and anxiety, and noticing emotional release, improved balance, and greater positivity. The ceremony takes place on the floor, with mats and both regular and floor chairs available. Participants are welcome to bring cushions, pillows, or other comfort items. Capacity is limited to 10 people, and the cost is $20.

Monthly Women's Circle

At Wyld Magick Center for Holistic Healing, this monthly circle creates a warm, judgment-free space for reflection, connection, and shared wisdom. Rooted in a long-standing tradition often called red tents or moon lodges, it honors the rhythms of the Moon and the Divine Feminine while welcoming anyone who identifies as a woman, across all ages and backgrounds. Even when the gathering does not align with the new or full Moon, lunar energy is still recognized as a guiding influence for insight and renewal. Circles often open with Raven fostering sisterhood and inviting participants to share life experiences. The group may explore practices such as cleansing with herbs, meditation, intention setting, and co-creating a meaningful altar that reflects individual journeys. The structure remains flexible and creative so the experience can unfold naturally. Comfort is encouraged. Many people sit on the floor, and chairs are available. Bringing a floor chair, cushion, pillows, or a blanket can help you settle in, and yoga mats and small floor chairs with backs are provided. Non-alcoholic drinks are welcome, with complimentary coffee and tea available. Snacks are welcome too, and treats are sometimes shared. Simple creative projects like journaling, sketching, knitting, or crochet are invited as long as conversation remains the focus. A small personal item for the communal altar is also optional. This is a free event with space limited to 10 on a first come, first served basis, and registration is required to hold a spot. If plans change, canceling in advance is appreciated. Please note that no-shows may not be able to attend future circles.

Fort Mill -Community Breast Ultrasound Screening

Freedom Integrative Wellness hosts a community breast ultrasound screening that adds imaging to a proactive breast health routine. The exam includes both breasts and the underarm area, with results interpreted by a radiologist. Ultrasound involves no radiation, is described as painless, and is safe for those with implants. The organizer notes that pairing ultrasound with other methods can raise cancer detection rates from roughly 48 percent to 97 percent, particularly for people with dense breast tissue, and it may find some cancers that mammograms or physical exams might miss. Provided by HerScan, the service is designed for speed, convenience, and cost savings. The price is $295, which covers the scan and the radiologist reading, noted as a value of up to $1,100. No prescription is required, and appointments are available through HerScan at this health event.
