    See details

Adoption may be finalized in court, yet the work of building a family continues. After finalization, parents who adopted from foster care often see supports and services fall away. Many find themselves handling trauma aware parenting, attachment needs, school hurdles, and caregiver fatigue, sometimes without a community. This post-adoption support group provides a respectful, judgment free setting designed specifically for parents who have adopted from foster care. Whether your adoption was recent or years in the past, you are welcome. Participants can connect with peers who truly understand, trade real-life challenges and successes, and receive encouragement and practical validation. Conversation is grounded in empathy and lived experience. There is no expectation to have everything figured out, and speaking is optional until you feel ready. Arrive as you are, and know you have a place here. The purpose is to offer ongoing support for those parenting children from hard places, because no one should carry this journey alone.
