America’s Belles Pageants presents a semi glitz beauty competition at the DeKalb County Community Complex, focused solely on beauty and filled with crowning moments for everyone. All participants receive a crown. Age divisions span 0 to 11 months, 12 to 23 months, 2 to 3 years, 4 to 6 years, 7 to 9 years, 10 to 13 years, 14 to 19 years, and 20 and up. Overall awards include one Grand Supreme from each overall grouping of 0 to 3, 4 to 9, and 10 and up based on the highest scores, with each winner receiving a crown and sash. Queens are named in every age division and also receive a crown and sash. First and second alternates receive a crown and sash as well. Anyone not earning one of those titles is crowned Princess and receives a crown. A People’s Choice honor is decided by one dollar votes collected before and during the pageant up to crowning, and the winner receives a crown. Side recognitions for prettiest eyes, hair, dress, and smile each come with a custom award. Each contestant and one accompanying adult receive free admission. Additional guests are $10, and children under three enter at no charge. The mandatory beauty entry with side categories is $75. A $10 late fee applies after the early deadline. A deposit of $45 secures a spot. Fees may be paid via Venmo to @Paige-Seidel-1 with the contestant’s name, age, and the pageant in the note, or via PayPal to seidelco14@gmail.com with a 4 percent processing fee added. A People’s Choice title is determined by $1 votes collected before and during the event up to crowning. His recording career dates back to the early 1980s with nine studio albums, a greatest hits collection, and 18 singles. BleepinJeep's Kart Wars is a karts-only gathering at Golden Mtn. for builders inspired by the Banana Peel concept. Organizers are shaping a simple definition of what qualifies as a kart and invite suggestions, with the core idea being a once street-legal rig reduced to the essentials. That means no body, no tub, and no doors, with the transmission visible between the driver’s legs, plus safety items like a roll cage, harnesses, secure battery tie downs, a fire extinguisher, and a helmet. Factory axles are expected, suspension changes should be minimal, and tires should be no larger than 35 inches. These points are guidelines rather than strict rules, keeping the emphasis on creativity and fun rather than measurements.

Dancing thru the Decades Adult Prom
Enjoy a throwback evening at an adult prom featuring music from across the decades. DJ Chris Moore will keep the dance floor moving while guests spend time with friends and have fun. Attire is Sunday best or formal only. Admission is available by presale only, ticket quantities are limited, and all sales are final. Tickets are $30 each or two for $50. Pay via Venmo and pick up tickets at the door, or obtain them from LMTS servants Vonda Brown, Wanda Redmon, Denise Page, or Angie Meadows at the Smithville Review office. At White County High School, RAM provides a free clinic offering dental, vision, and general medical care, with patients seen in the order they arrive. Because of limited time, patients may be asked to choose between dental and vision services, and general medical care is available to everyone. The patient parking area opens and stays available for the duration of the clinic, and upon arrival, staff and volunteers share next steps and explain how the clinic works. If you plan to come early, bring your own food, water, any needed medications, and clothing suitable for the weather. Restrooms will be available at the parking site. Capacity often fills quickly, especially for dental and vision. Once full, additional patients cannot be admitted and operations begin to wrap up, so those seeking dental care are encouraged to arrive as early as possible. All services are free and open to the public, and no identification or insurance is required. Details can change because of weather, volunteer availability, or other unexpected factors, including earlier-than-planned parking lot opening and limits on the number of patients served. Rain or shine, vendors will be set up both indoors and outdoors.
