Nature Lab offers a hands-on science and nature enrichment experience for homeschoolers ages 8 to 10, with each meeting built around a fresh theme that nurtures curiosity about ecology and scientific exploration. This session focuses on bees and other pollinators, highlighting the many ways they support everyday life. Participants try a simple bee dance, learn what keeps a hive healthy, and practice a mock hive inspection. The experience continues with a half-mile walk to observe active honeybee hives at Yanahli Park and to look for the queen. Comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for outdoor walking are recommended. Because activities take place near active hives, this program is not advised for anyone with a known or severe bee allergy. Bees are generally calm and will not be handled by participants, yet a sting is always possible. This is a drop-off program, and parents who choose to remain are asked to sit at the back so students can stay engaged. If siblings attend, they should remain seated and quiet. The registration fee is 5 dollars per participant.

This advanced motorcycle skills course delivers eight hours of focused, hands-on training in Shelbyville, TN, between Murfreesboro and Lynchburg. It is designed for riders beyond the beginner stage who want to sharpen low speed control and apply practical defensive techniques directly to everyday riding. The day centers on deliberate practice with coaching and repetition, emphasizing active drills over classroom time. Participants work through challenging exercises inspired by police motor officer methods, such as slow cone and offset weaves, single and double 360 degree turns, lane changes, straight line braking, braking to evade, and strategies to avoid rear end collisions, along with additional advanced maneuvers. Expect demanding work and clear progress. By the end, riders gain more precise low speed handling, stronger braking and evasive responses, increased confidence on the road, and a certificate upon successful completion.

This hunter pace welcomes riders of any age, discipline, and experience level to cover a 3 to 5 mile route across hunt country, aiming to match an ideal hunting pace rather than race a field. Two speed options are offered, with First Flight set at a quicker tempo and Second Flight at a more moderate pace. Jumping is optional in all divisions, with fences up to about 3 feet 3 inches and many smaller options that reflect natural hunt country obstacles. Teams leave at staggered intervals of one to five minutes to keep the course flowing smoothly. Any appropriate riding attire is allowed, and ribbons recognize the best turned out in traditional hunt attire. A new ticketed schooling jump course will be available in the Tennessee Equine Hospital Arena at Mells' Foxhounds Sugar Valley. Helmets are required whenever mounted. A negative Coggins must be shown at check in. A signed liability release is required for all participants, and junior riders need a parent or guardian signature. Online entry is available, and same day entries are accepted at an elevated fee.
