Set in Historic East Nashville’s Five Points, this two day celebration centers on the beloved tomato as a symbol of unity between fruits and vegetables. The festival is free to attend, welcoming to all ages, and brimming with art, live music, food, playful costumes, contests, shopping, and activities for kids. Performances fill the 37206 Main Stage presented by Busch Light with Tobacco Road, Jarren Blair, Girl Tones, The Foxies, Threegon, Massie99, Wild Bill & The Bruisers, Raygun, JT Loux, Waxed, and Moga Family Band. The 11th St. Stage presented by Publix Super Markets features The FBR, Eva Cassel, Lonesome Joy, Abbdavv, Gremlins, Chrysalis, and the Battle of the Vine winner. Costumes are encouraged, and in addition to the free festivities there are two ticketed gatherings, the Art Show Pre View Party and the Bloody Mary Garden Party.

The Tennessee Titans host the Blue & White Stadium Scrimmage, presented by Pinnacle, a complimentary family friendly practice session open to the public at Nissan Stadium. It marks the team’s final full-stadium practice in the current venue and features a live team scrimmage that concludes with a fireworks display. Admission requires reserving a free ticket through SeatGeek. Season Ticket Members can purchase parking for $5 in Lots E, K, P, R, and T, with passes required in advance and proceeds benefiting the Titans Foundation. Entry is available at Gates 3 and 9. Attendees can watch a Training Camp practice and explore concourse activities that include discounted concessions, photo opportunities, tailgate-style games, inflatables, and more. A clear bag policy will be in effect, and items such as strollers, umbrellas, and standalone chairs are not permitted.

Movie night on the Mansion grounds features the animated sports comedy GOAT, along with food trucks, yard games, and popcorn. Guests may bring chairs or blankets, and coolers are permitted. The movie begins as evening grows darker. Tickets are $10 with a $30 maximum per vehicle, or $5 for Friends Members with a $20 maximum per vehicle. Presented by John Barker’s Two Rivers Ford.

This weekly Nashville farmers market operates on an urban farm and is the city's only market of its kind. It is led by growers who came to the United States with refugee status. For 12 years these farmers have nourished local families through a CSA and supplied ingredients to leading restaurants across the city. Shoppers can find fresh, locally grown produce from global farmers in South Nashville's international corridor, along with offerings from other area growers, makers, and producers.

A volunteer geologist leads a guided exploration of the fossil collection area beside the visitors center. Participants learn about Nashville’s 400 million year old marine fossils and may take a few specimens home. Registration is requested. The park is currently under construction as part of Master Plan Phase 1. The half mile trail remains open, and construction vehicles may be present occasionally. Access to the historic fort at the top of the hill is closed and is expected to reopen in late summer. The visitors center is open during normal hours, with any brief access interruptions shared on Facebook and Instagram. Parking is very limited, so consider carpooling if possible.

Mutts & ‘Maters brings a dog friendly twist to the annual Tomato Art Festival at Baxter Bailey & Company. Dogs can enjoy a complimentary ‘Mater Muttuccino, a playful tomato inspired treat created just for this celebration. The event features a tomato themed photo booth for shareable pup portraits, limited edition tomato inspired bakery treats and toys crafted for the festival, and special discounts and giveaways. Expect plenty of tail wagging fun throughout the day with a touch of VIP treatment for every pup.

Rodney the Magician presents a children's comedy magic show at the Nashville Public Library - Edmondson Pike Branch. The performance features cards, birds, bunnies, and audience participation for lots of fun. It is recommended for ages 4 to 12, but all are welcome.

Cheekwood’s summertime train showcase honors the nation’s 250th anniversary with an immersive journey through treasured American places. Ten model trains traverse more than 850 feet of track, passing 25 recognizable landmarks in the largest train installation Cheekwood has presented. The route features icons such as the Statue of Liberty, Tennessee’s Great Smoky Mountains, and the Golden Gate Bridge. Each structure is a miniature piece of botanical architecture, crafted by hand from natural materials like willow, cedar, acorn caps, moss, pinecones, and bark. Built by Applied Imagination, this special traveling exhibition is set within the Bradford Robertson Color Garden for a limited engagement. Cheekwood’s permanent TRAINS! exhibit remains open year-round for additional train viewing.

Create and personalize clay pieces in an outdoor setting using air dry clay with simple pottery tools such as rolling pins, cookie cutters, and texture tools. Add color and character with provided supplies, including paints, markers, beads, and stickers. Look for three yellow flags and orange cones at the entrance, and use the grass lot along the driveway for parking.
