Manchester · Old Stone Fort Camp Ground, 732 Stone Fort Drive

Celebrate Halloween with a family friendly nighttime paddle at Old Stone Fort State Park and the campground. Bring candy, decorations, and costumes that are suitable for all ages. Group tent camping is available for a $25 per family fee, with plans centered around campsites 26 and 27. Those who prefer an RV or their own individual site can make a personal reservation and will not be charged a club camping fee. There are no outfitters for this outing, and the club has only a few kayaks available to rent; contact Justin Seavers if a rental is needed. Helpful items to pack include bug spray, sunscreen, a first aid kit, a dry bag or box, quick drying clothing, snacks, drinking water, a whistle, a knife, and water soakers for the Soaker Showdown 2026. Wear sturdy, closed toe footwear and avoid cotton. Everyone must wear a life jacket during all on water activities. No mind or performance altering substances are permitted before or during the paddle. If there are medical conditions organizers should be aware of, please let an officer know in advance. This outing is presented by the West Tennessee Canoe & Kayak Club. Annual membership is $20 for participants 18 and older and covers events for the season.
