Toddler Story Time has returned to O'Brien's Bookshop in partnership with Mansfield Mom Walk. Geared to little ones from infancy through age 4, each gathering features themed read-alouds, songs and fingerplays, simple games, and complimentary toddler-friendly snacks. Supported by PetSmart Charities, the focus is on matching people with dogs who need homes and on celebrating the happiness adoption brings to both. Adoptions are donation based and include spay or neuter, core vaccinations, a microchip, and preventive care for fleas, ticks, and heartworms, plus additional benefits. She navigates Lucille’s new best friends, meets Herb, struggles to see the blackboard and wonders if glasses might help, dives into a competitive kickball game, and keeps her secrets safe in a Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal. Filled with upbeat songs, playful humor, and plenty of personality, it celebrates friendship, growing up, and finding confidence. This family-friendly production takes the stage at Plaza’s Main Street venue in historic downtown Cleburne.

This family-friendly event brings young runners to Bicentennial Park for a 1-mile course, and parents are welcome to run alongside their child. Race bags can be picked up before the start. After all participants have crossed the finish line, the festivities continue with a color party. Registration is available in person at the Rec Center and online. A deadline applies to ensure a race T-shirt, and in some cases a race bag may not be guaranteed, though a bib number will still be provided.
