MJARS Training hosts a one-day class focused on the Technician license. Participants must secure an FCC Registration Number before attending. AMA Texas State Championship Series - Central Region- Round 1

Round 1 of the Central Region opens the 16th Annual AMA Texas State Championship Series at Metroplex MX. Riders earn points in every moto that carry to the State Final, so each start, lap, and finish can shape the standings and determine who stands on the podium. Double points are available at the Shootout at Rafter S MX and at the State Championship Final at Oak Hill Raceway. The series brings together leading Texas motocross competitors, along with factory contingencies, prizes from industry-leading companies, and fierce racing at premier Texas tracks. DFW Mini Z Tag Team Championship

SpareTime Raceway hosts an inaugural tag team showdown for the Unified Stock class, built around earned partnerships and balanced competition. Drivers start with solo seeding runs to set the order. Teams are then formed by pairing the top qualifier with the last, the second with the second-to-last, and so on, which keeps the field even. The championship race follows, and finishing places convert to points. First place earns 1 point, eighth earns 8, and each team adds its two results. The lowest combined total claims the belts and becomes the first set of champions in track history. Champions also secure a place on the Belt Wall, a permanent board at the track honoring title holders. After the first crowning, the same seeding and draft system returns each month to determine new challengers while the reigning team defends. The entry fee is $20, collected at the track. Participants can take part in games such as a slow bike race, a barrel roll, Husband’s Home, a water balloon toss, and a hot dog bite, plus a surprise challenge. The entry fee is $25 and includes one meal. The event also features a silent auction, 50/50 and bottle drawings, and vendors. BBQ plates are available for a $10 donation.
