He continues to serve as a Reserve Army officer in Europe, and after two decades away the pull of music brought him back. He emphasizes working hard, honoring his family, and making supporters proud. Stone River Band returns to the Hoots Hall stage, a long-standing favorite among audiences at the venue. This is a ticketed show with general admission priced at $15. Entry is limited to ages 21 and up. Weapons are not allowed, and a police officer will be on site. Parking is free, and a food truck will be available throughout the evening.

Part of the Kick It 3v3 2026 World Tour, this Dallas-Mansfield stop brings small-sided soccer to the Mansfield Sports Complex with a guaranteed four-game minimum and a fast-paced format that means plenty of touches, passing and goals. Youth divisions cover U6 through U19 for girls and boys, and adults can compete in mens, womens and coed brackets. Recognition is planned for the top three finishers, and referees will select a Sportsmanship Award during the event. Teams can also collect points toward the World Championship in Vail. Entry options are flexible. Players can register a 3v3 team or sign up as individuals, and there are additional competitions including a 1v1 bracket and a soccer tennis tournament that works well for parent and child teammates. Individual 3v3 youth registration includes a paid, qualified coach for $105 per player, and adult or U19 individual entries are $65 per player. The 1v1 event is $50 per player, runs about 90 to 120 minutes, is limited to 40 players across all age groups, and awards a medal to the champion. Soccer tennis is $120 per team for two to four players, runs roughly two to four hours, and is capped at 20 teams. Registration is open with tiered pricing available at $269 for early bird, $289 for standard and $309 for late entry. Families can choose a single day focused on a favorite species or reserve the entire week at a discounted rate. The themed lineup includes Monkey Monday with spider monkeys, capuchins, and squirrel monkeys, where campers can hand-feed, gently pet, and watch them play, plus a monkey-inspired art project and a foraging enrichment box. Otter Tuesday highlights Asian small-clawed otters Fisher and Ocean, with the chance to splash in a shallow pond and use super soakers, and a keepsake canvas painted by the otters. Sloth and Bearcat Wednesday introduces Stanley the two-toed sloth in a habitat with grotto rock walls and a real tree, along with binturongs Ravenna and Lucian, complemented by a themed art project and a foraging enrichment activity. Volunteers and staff will photograph camp activities and share a Google Drive folder at the end of the week. Tickets are non-refundable, and all minors must be accompanied by an adult.

A musical theatre intensive for students in grades K through 6 focuses on bringing Disney’s Finding Nemo KIDS to the stage. Participants rehearse a 30-minute adaptation of the 2003 Disney and Pixar film, with new music by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez and a book by Lindsay Anderson, and with music and orchestrations arranged by Myrna Conn. The source film was written by Andrew Stanton, Bob Peterson, and David Reynolds and directed by Andrew Stanton. The story follows Marlin, a cautious clownfish in the Great Barrier Reef, as he journeys to Sydney to find his child, Nemo, meeting characters like Dory, Crush, and the Tank Gang along the way. Songs include Just Keep Swimming, Fish Are Friends Not Food, and Go With the Flow, creating a colorful underwater adventure about family, friendship, and perseverance. The camp fee is $100. Role placement happens through auditions on the first day of class, and every registered camper appears in the show. Each student is responsible for selling 20 tickets, which supports program costs while building outreach and theatre marketing skills.
