Live music in DeSoto, TX

A musical variation on bingo for adults ages 50 and up takes place at the Midlothian Senior Citizen Center. Instead of numbers, players listen for well known songs from past decades, mark the matching titles on their cards, sing along, and can win prizes. Photos may be taken during the event for use on the library’s social media, website, and other publications. Anyone who prefers not to be photographed can notify the library staff.

Rockin’ S Bar & Grill hosts a night of live music with Professor Rock Band, a high energy tribute group performing classic rock hits. Look forward to iconic favorites, powerful performances, and a lively atmosphere. Enjoy cold drinks and great food while the band keeps the music going. The cover charge is $10.00 per person.

Union 28 hosts an evening of live music headlined by the Reid Freeman Band. Reid Freeman, a Texas country artist from Guthrie now based in Lubbock, blends classic country roots with a contemporary Texas sound and is known for candid lyrics and storytelling. In a little over a year he has released six original singles, received the 2026 Country Music Rising Star Award, performed alongside acts such as Montgomery Gentry, and cultivated a loyal following across Texas. Off stage he serves as a firefighter and brings that same dedication to his music. The night features an opening act to be announced, followed by a set from the band. Open to all ages.
