    RCDRL UAR September II Remember

Traders Village, 2602 Mayfield Rd., Grand Prairie
    See details

The Radio Controlled Drag Racing League returns to the drag strip at Traders Village for a meaningful and highly competitive sixth annual weekend presented by Urban Assault Racing. As the twelfth stop of the 2026 points season, it blends reflection and unity with the speed and precision that define the series. This weekend also launches the UAR Texas Region Drag Racing Series at the venue, placing the spotlight on heads-up matchups, earned starting positions, and cash payouts. Opening night features the Elite 8 edition of UAR Mega Cash Days with a North versus South clash in Extreme Pro Stock, and a 100 percent payout available on both event days. This is a real contest, not an exhibition, with no automatic spots. Positions are earned through on-track performance and consistency, and every lap counts. Early sessions include open Test and Tune so teams can dial in before the full points program. The following day returns to traditional morning and daytime competition across all standard RCDRL classes as championship pressure builds. With the season in its playoff phase and this round marked as race 12, each result can shift the standings and momentum is earned here. More than a typical race, this gathering pairs respect and remembrance with high-stakes action, while the debut of UAR’s Texas Region series signifies both tradition and the next chapter of heads-up competition.

    Free

Galaway Manor presents its annual Trick or Treat and Street Haunt, a free Halloween experience that plans to proceed regardless of weather, with a possible delay only if conditions become severe. An early window is reserved for children who prefer a no-scare visit. After that, the full production takes over with a street haunt, roaming monsters, and a light show that carries on late into the night. Expect very heavy, dense fog effects to shape the atmosphere, and the fog is water based, unscented, and described as non toxic. Large crowds are expected, and patience helps while volunteers manage the flow. The emphasis is on the haunt and light show rather than the amount of candy, and participation by neighboring homes can vary. Those who do not want to be startled should plan to attend only during the non-scare period, since later everyone is part of the frightful fun. During that early hour the light show and street haunt are not running. Guests are also asked to help keep the area clean by avoiding litter.
